Good location, busy street. The resort had the feel of a motel - rooms smelled musty and the shower started to run out of water quickly. Beds were comfortable. Although it appears to be on the beach, you must walk down the road a way and then down another road to actually access the beach.

Recently visited for the second time in two years. Staff is friendly rooms are clean and well stocked. Best nights sleep I've had in a while beds are very comfy. Attention to the little details. Great breakfast and location. Would highly reccomend.

Pristine, clean, magical ocean get away. Staff is accommodating and very helpful. We have two young kids and we had a blast between walking to Perkins cove, to the local beach for play and lunch and the heated pool!!! Great time! The breakfast has a little something for everyone and they keep it light to get on with your day. Perfectly centrally localized.

Sparhawk was pretty phenomenal. A rare oceanfront room in Ogunquit. However, first thing I noticed was the air conditioner Filter. It was absolutely disgusting and hadn't been cleaned once, all Summer long. It had a full INCH of lint and dust on it, that completely covered the bathroom Tub once I cleaned it. That tells me right there that the maids aren't doing their job. I also found a frozen pack of egg-bites in the freezer from a previous renter. Aside from that, the place was super nice. Another thing that annoyed me was that we were there this week (8/27-29), and it's the end of the season. The front desk people couldn't even tell me when and where the trolley stops were. I mean come on! That's literally your job as a concierge. Be better!!!

We just returned from a nice quick visit. We hadn't stayed here in the past because we often found the hotel to have a 7 night minimum. This trip there was no minimum so we were able to do just 3 nights. The room was comfortable and clean. The front desk employees were very helpful every time we spoke with them. We enjoyed the lounge chairs around the property. The pool was heated, but not overly hot (my son went in, we skipped). It was a very easy walk in to town and we even walked to the beach twice. The free continental breakfast was just enough and is a nice touch. Recommend for families!

The Marginal way begins at this property. There are several buildings with a variety of room choices. Breakfast is available every morning. The muffins are addictive and there are several choices daily. Nothing hot on the breakfast bar but they do have several juice choices, hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, instant oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and several toast choices. Coffee is available until evening.

Wonderful location! Right in town and walkable to shops, eateries and the beach, and you just can’t beat the view. Our oceanfront room was outfitted just fine and we loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the river and ocean. The included breakfast was basic but more than sufficient to start the day. Adding a full service, all day restaurant onsite would put this resort over the top. Very kid and family friendly, both the hotel and the town overall. We fell in love with Ogunquit and would absolutely stay at the Sparhawk again.

This resort is our new.go to place to relax. The owner has thought of everything for a comfortable stay. |First the room: We chose an oceanfront and it was hard to leave our spacious deck and the sounds of the ocean. It was a cool night so we shut the air conditioner off and opened our windows for the ocean breeze. Cannot get better than this. You won’t be sorry for splurging on the oceanfront room! |Second: The property is immaculately groomed with lovely flower beds, plenty of quaint seating areas and a beautiful walking path. So relaxing! There is an outdoor pool but we did not use. |There is a continual breakfast served and it was just enough to start our day! And the staff is friendly and helpful!
