Fantastic location. Clean room. No problems, great place to stay. Loved sitting directly in front of the river and ocean for views right out of our windows. We enjoyed our stay immensely and walked along Marginal Way. The ocean path was right outside our day.

We had an exceptional stay at the Marginal Way House in Ogunquit! We started our honeymoon there and it was like we landed in a movie about a sleepy beach town. Everything was beautiful and the building was stunning! We could enjoy coffee on our porch and watch the tide come in!

The location is unbeatable, right on the water with stunning views. Walking the Marginal Way to Perkins Cove was a daily highlight. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We can't wait to return!

We've been coming to OGT for 25 years and have stayed all over. This was our first time at Marginal Way House and it was excellent. The room (115 in the main house) was exceptionally clean. The check in/check out was flawless and the grounds are beautiful. They have coffee every morning starting at 730am on the porch. They also still have daily cleaning service which is honestly hard to find now, post-covid. We will definitely be back.

We count our annual trip to Ogunquit and annual "must" and the Marginal Way House as the only place we'll stay. We had been staying in the cottage but this winter's storms damaged it so that it had to be torn down. Fingers crossed that the new cottage will be ready for our already booked stay next spring. Because the cottage was no more, the owner booked us into the DockHouse. While not as charming as the cottage, we still enjoyed our stay, especially the balcony with it's view of the estuary and ocean. The staff is always friendly, the housekeeping staff is efficient and the location is perfect, whether you walk to the beach, restaurants and shops or walk the Marginal Way to Perkins Cove. We wished there was a microwave in the room so that we could reheat restaurant leftovers, but that is our only request. We're already looking forward to next year.

Stayed here in the Dock House several times and it's such a treat watching the tide going out and coming in right out the window and under our balcony, a perfect spot to sit and breathe in the sea air while enjoying the view (from the balcony or the bed!). The rooms in the Dock House are so cozy, comfortable beds, gorgeous bathroom, and easy to use heat and A/C. Very short walk to Shore Road and Main Street, and the bridge to the beach. All I can think of to make it better is a remote control to open the blinds first thing in the morning. 😉 A gem of a place!

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Our room, 106, was once the breakfast room (another guest told us), so was a little odd, but very comfortable and extremely clean. The view from the porch is fantastic.

Been coming here for 30 years. It's always clean, views are awesome, staff are great. All the rooms have been tastefully redone in the past few years styled in a shady sheik design.

I had stayed here in June when I was recovering from surgery and really liked it. I impulsively booked a 2 night stay for this week through Booking.com. Apparently this website uses photos for unrelated rooms on their site so I unknowingly booked a room up a steep flight of stairs overlooking the road, rather than the waterfront room I thought I was getting. When I questioned this with the Marginal Way House staff and showed them my booking with photos I was told my complaint was with Booking.com and I should have called them to clarify the room, as if I knew there was a problem before I got there. The room was well decorated, the cleaning staff were incredible but I had to sit out on the lawn to see the water, the stairs were a continual challenge and the noise from others who shared the landing was awful. The location is wonderful but I won’t return and will look elsewhere for my trips to Ogunquit. Beware of Booking.com.
