It was our first time going on the Rubicon Trail. The group we went with had gone several times, and they arranged to stay at the Rock Creek Inn the night before we hit the trail. Everything about our stay there was a great experience.||First of all, the communication with the staff was excellent. If they weren’t immediately available, they returned calls or text messages promptly. Then when we arrived, the rooms were clean and nice and cool, which allowed us to get some great rest before hitting the trail. We were even able to figure out how to park 3 different trucks with trailers. ||A nice bonus was a pizza/sandwich shop that was just a 2-minute walk from the location. Good food and a fun location. There were deer on our path back from the restaurant, which was a welcomed surprise!||What made me so impressed with our experience was we had an emergency that required us to leave the Rubicon Trail a day ahead of time without any room reservations in place. Because there is very limited cell signal in the Rubicon area, we couldn’t make any advance reservations. Even though it was headed in the opposite direction, we chose to take a chance and head an hour toward the Rock Creek Inn and hope they could accommodate us.||We pulled it an 9 pm. I made a quick call and sent a text message. They got back to me quickly and scurried to help make a bad situation into a very pleasant experience. And they did everything with a kind voice and a smile. When I told them we didn’t need any special treatment and that we just needed a place to sleep to prepare for the 530-mile trip back home the next morning to help with an unexpected death, they insisted on making sure everything was perfect for our stay.||In a time where corporations continue to put profits above people, I can’t adequately articulate how much I appreciated people putting people first. If you want to know you’re valued while enjoying quaint, small-town family-style lodging, stay here!

This is a wonderful hotel. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the lady at the reception was very kind and welcoming. The photos on the website don’t do it justice — it’s even better in person. A great place to stay if you’re visiting Georgetown.

While this isn't a big city 5 star, this is a perfect spot to land if you're heading out to do the Rubicon! We would stay here again and again. Great room with everything we need. Thank you to the staff who made this a fantastic launching pad.

Only place I stay when in Georgetown. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Outdoor Gazebo and grill area is a great place to relax and socialize.

We have been loyal customers of these charming cabins for many years, utilizing them as a base for our annual Rubicon Trail adventures. The location is ideal. While we were initially disappointed to learn of Neville's departure as proprietor, we were delighted to meet the exceptionally friendly new owner, Katie, and were pleased to discover that we will be able to continue to enjoy the exceptional amenities of this establishment. We are also grateful for the accommodation of our dog.

We had a charming room! It was clean, well stocked and fit into the countryside! The room was complete with Wi-Fi, sleep number beds and refrigerator and coffee! It is a pet friendly inn and bankers for my dog was provided. This inn proved to be a great way to end a perfect day in the woods!
