I’ve always had great experiences at this location and appreciate the employees. People need to understand that the self-checkout attendants watch everyone because that is their responsibility, not because of any bias. It’s disappointing to see misinformation in reviews.

Additionally, assumptions about employees’ personal lives and behavior should not be made so carelessly. The staff here has always been professional and helpful in my experience, and they deserve respect for the job they do especially when they regularly deal with customers who verbally assault them or threaten physical violence. No one should have to work under those circumstances, and threats of violence should never be tolerated. Redner’s management and the corporate office need to take serious measures to protect their workers.

Perhaps some customers should have more patience and a better understanding of how self-checkout works. The employees here are just doing their jobs, and they deserve support—not baseless accusations.

Thank you to the hardworking team for continuing to provide good service despite these challenges.

Went in today for a groceries. The 2 women at check out were chatting away like they didn’t want to be bothered to check me out. So, I went to self checkout. Heavy set, mixed gay guy comes over to watch me like a hawk! Walks up to the self checkout and literally watches just about every item I scanned. Then when I was leaving he and a red head gay guy begin to talk about me and laugh! Needless to say, I won’t be back! This was the middle of the day! If you don’t trust black people to do self checkout, then have the attentive staff needed to process orders.

Love that it is worker owned and the folks who work there are pleasant and helpful. But why does it suddenly smell very strongly of fried chicken? Is the fryer hood broken? I know people like the smell but it is so strong i leave smelling like fryer oil after a quick 10 minute shop to buy a few things. Please fix your hood! For the sake of the respiratory health of your customers and workers!

Usually we enjoy shopping here, but lately anything we try to buy is expired or very close to expiring. Please check your products better, this shouldn’t be an issue. Especially dairy products!

Ran in for a few things on the way home today. Plenty of stocked items. Everything I was looking for was found easily. Plenty of parking and the sales associate was very friendly.
