I had a nice move-in experience with Ms. Monroe and the rest of the team. As I was moving here from another state for my job, I did a thorough search and The Meadows was on my short list. The new management is obviously taking their job seriously. I was informed that there is one more area for repair at my apartment, and it will be better to wait for one more day for the fumes. I am very happy with my spacious apartment located in a silent area surrounded by the forest. Those looking for a nice apartment that is a bus ride away from the nearest metro station to D.C. should consider the Meadows as one of their top options.

I would not recommend moving here. I have only been in my apartment for two weeks, and I have already experienced a roach infestation, along with several appliances broken upon moving into this unit. This apartment complex did not properly prepare my unit for move in And they also promised me a unit that was not available by the time of my move-in date. There is a serious lack of communication here and management is just very nonchalant and they act like they don’t want their jobs. Also, if you come in during any move-in special, they won’t tell you that is not included for the first month until you get here. Don’t do it move somewhere else

Hello moving here was definitely convenient for me due to my job. Looks really niece until their pets come out. It had a bad mice problem and the rental office acts like they don’t care. I have been calling complaining about the mice issue and the and the new manager told me they didn’t have anybody they are looking for a vendor. Smh I have babies and it’s very unsanitary.I have never seen so many of them in my life. Also outside smells like blue plains so you can’t even open your windows for fresh air. Another thing when I moved in I showed proof of renters insurance and how I paid for the whole year as sighing three months im getting charged $14.00 for insurance lapse and still haven’t received my money back. These floors are thin I hear everything from upstairs down stairs and even next door. People get robbed for their cars at gun point around here as well. I would never recommend anybody living here what so ever I been here 4 months and already ready to contact the health department. Need new staff as well they don’t return calls or emails and they just let anybody become a manager. Ms ebony needs to come back because at least she was about her word. Those others is just rude. Not to mention when I just called and telling my issues the new manager act like I was a problem cut me off said he was going to do a inspection by the end of today and just rudely hung up on me. So I called back twice with no answer so I’m guessing he was watching me call because it was two seconds after he hung up. I been trying to find corporate number but all these numbers are inactive smh they need to do better.

Over a year later nothing is fixed or resolved all they did was outa letter on my door saying I have to move the maintenance never shows up I mean they don’t even have one on-site and the manager does reach out to help or anything she came to inspect my unit once said she would have somebody come fix everything and haven’t heard back in two months smh so many mice it’s crazy I don’t recommend this place to not a soul

i was just getting used to a comfortable level with the management. things were getting better for the community which was on its way up and now to have the bestest person at the helm and now not, i'd just started recommending this complex, this action is very disheartening and very disappointing

my move in experience was just horrible!
I stopped by the morning of my move in to get my keys and was ASSURED by the leasing agent that she walked through my apartment and It was beautiful and ready to go. SHE LIED! Upon move in, NOTHING was done in the apartment. There is STILL no air conditioning in my home. Its been a heat wave and still going on this week. Today is day 4 without air. The oven/stove, refrigerator was NEVER cleaned and prepared for a new tenant. The refrigerator is completely DISGUSTING. Its still dirty from the last tenant. The screen door to my sliding door is completely broken and unsafe where people could break in. Hard to keep it closed with NO AIR in the home. The floors have paint splatter all over. They were never cleaned and prepared for a new tenant. The shower was clogged as well as the toilet keeps overflowing when you flush. I have been calling the leasing office and I keep getting put off!

Update: LaTia the property manager finaly reached out and made it all right. She was very apologetic, and ordered everything to get fixed right away and it did. I feel so much at peace now. I wish I didnt have to experience that, but hopefully moving forward they are prompt on making new tenants moving experience a beautiful one, because it is already a stressful process.

I came in to tour this property as I have been looking for a nice 2 bedroom for my daughter and I. Chawntaé was so helpful and sweet when we came in. She gave us all of the information we need to make an educated decision. I feel like this is the one based off of the tour and research I have done. The property looked clean. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon as I walked the grounds and the amenities look nice.

This apartment complex is a mess. They changed management 3 times since i’ve been here. Maintenance does not fix anything, they didn’t have a license to rent out apartments from when I moved here in May 2022 up until November 2023, they have stray animals walking around, etc. I recently just got my dog and money stolen from the previous maintenance people. They don’t care about the tenants and will continue to try to collect rent money. This is the hood and charging almost 2 bands for a 1 bedroom filled with roaches, mice and mold is crazy. I don’t feel safe in my home because maintenance enter without notice.
