This Inn is one of my Favorite places to have a quiet Get-a-Way. My husband and I stay at this Inn and my BFF and I go there every year for our Girl's Weekend. There are so many lovely, special amenities at the Inn Boonsboro and the Staff are always eager to make your stay special. From the lovely furnishings, the literature-inspired rooms, the fireplaces and comfy places to chill with a book to the local shops and restaurants, everything is top quality. AND THE BATHROOMS......To Die For !! The Breakfasts served every morning by Staff are Scrumptious. If you love History, the area of Boonsboro MD and Antietam Battlefield and Creek are lovely to tour. Also, if you are a Nora Roberts fan, then a stay at Inn Boonsboro is a Must.

This was so much better than we expected. The staff was so friendly and helpful and welcoming. The room was great. Even better were the quiet spaces such as the library and lounge. It was so nice to sit in the library and read with a beverage. The Jameson in the library was a very nice touch. The food at breakfast and the afternoon snacks were fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back

This had been a dream of mine since reading the Inn Boonsboro Trilogy. My husband surprised me about a year and a half ago with saying I want to take you for your birthday to the Inn you want to go to but they were sold out this year so let’s plan now for next year. After a much anticipated year and half the time finally came. We checked in on my 55th Birthday and were greeted warmly by Bobbi and shown to the fabulous Eve and Roarke room where my husband had surprised my with “Big Romantic Package,” where there were rose pedals on the bed and a bottle of bubbly. The innkeeper was warm, friendly, funny, and oh so cute with expecting her lil pumpkin. The chefs outdid themselves with the breakfasts. The wine and charcuterie hour were a lot of fun to mingle with the other guests and get to make new friends. My husband enjoyed the complimentary Jamison’s. We booked for 2026 in Westley and Buttercup. I’m already looking forward to that trip in 2 years.

This was my fourth time staying at the Inn BoonsBoro. My stays are 2 nights. What a treat for me. All the staff are friendly, accommodating and caring. Rooms are spotless and stocked with nice amenities. I really liked that I didn't have to ask for more Kleenix and T paper like I have to occasionally do in other hotels. They supply snacks, water and soft drinks gratis. One of the best things is the breakfasts. This time my first break started with vanilla yogurt top with caramelized oranges and pistachios Then I was served a frittata with grape tomatoes, broccoli and cheese and bacon. My second day was a pear compote with a great crunchy topping, then French toast, bacon and eggs cooked the way I wanted. While I don't drink alcohol, they have sparkling cider available for me to have with the appetizers in the evening. The appetizer trays are plentiful and include meats, cheese, fruit, nuts, crackers and spreads. I've only stayed in two of the rooms, Jane and Rochester the first two times and the Westley & Buttercup the second two times. While I really liked the Jane & Rochester, I prefer the Westley & Buttercup because of the separate sitting area. Some guest complained about the noise from the streets since the hotel is located on busy corner in Boonsboro. I did notice some street noise during the day and in the evening, but it was intermittent and since I wear hearing aids, it didn't bother me at night. The suggestion to get rooms away from the intersection is a good one. To me, the good things about the Inn more than make up for the occasional street noise. While the town itself is small, it does have other good restaurants, and a few shops. Plus it is so close to other sights to see that I don't view that as a detriment. I hope to make a stay at the Inn an annual indulgence.

This is now my fourth stay here and each time is better than the last! My best friend and I went on New Year's Eve, and it was so cutely decorated, had a nice champagne toast and spread for their social hour, and just such a warm and cozy way to spend the night, as well as start the New Year. Grateful for such a place to keep coming back to 🙂

It was absolutely amazing, it was like I'd imagined it from the books. Will definitely be making a return trip up there sometime, i love the books based on the inn. The staff made my birthday memorable. If you're a fan of any of Nora's books it's a must visit

Fantastic girls trip. The staff was wonderful, and the inn was luxurious and comfortable. The extra touches such as the wine and cheese happy hour as well as the huge selection of teas and coffees available at all hours made our stay beyond our expectations. We will definitely be back.

Bucket list!
Loved staying at the Inn BoonsBoro. The town itself is very tiny and the businesses there seem to function in tandem with the Inn. The inn itself is very appealing. It does have some navigational quirks, which I will outline later.
The highlights were definitely the other guests and the innkeepers. We didn’t expect to enjoy hanging out with the other guests so much, and did nothing but hang out with them. The innkeepers are all gracious and extraordinarily accommodating. We especially enjoyed Jenny and her singing (she does it while she’s in the kitchen).
While the rooms all each have their own theme, they have much in common. Plush beds, luxurious linens, enormous bathrooms with a very fancy bidet, showers that include a handheld showerhead, a rain showerhead, and body jets, a large soaking tub (except in Margarite and Darcy, the ADA room) and fresh flowers in the room. Each room has a feature item. We stayed in the Jane and Rochester and it was the fainting couch.
The inn and rooms have their quirks too. The Inn is kept locked up, so that people can’t wander in and help themselves to it items. Also for the guests privacy and security. This can make it a little awkward upon arriving. You park in the lot behind the inn and then go to a small door under an awning at the corner of the building to be let in and check in. Keep your key with you at all times it is your access to everything. Upon check-in, you will get a tour of the inn and your room.
The quirks of our room were that it had little to no storage. The only hanging space were hooks on the back of the bathroom door. The only drawer space were 2 small drawers in the writing secretary desk. There was a luggage rack, but I like to settle into a space. The enormous soaking tubs are very enticing, but could use a suction cup cushion to sit on so you don’t slide to the end and end up with your neck canted at a very awkward angle. Also, we did not get very thorough instruction on the bidet upon check-in and hilariously found the seat too hot to sit up on for long until we asked if there was a way to tweak that setting. (The Library whiskey makes for some very fun conversations).
Common space features that we very much enjoyed, include snacks in the dining room, a fridge with sodas, waters, and energy drinks in the lounge, Irish whiskey in the library with a lovely fireplace and one of our favorites, the second story front porch. The Inn does breakfast cooked to order every morning (you choose a dining time of 8 AM or 9 AM) and wine and charcuterie in the lounge at 5pm.
Dining options in town are fairly limited, but we very much enjoyed Jeovanni‘s across the street. I was not lucky enough to see Nora, but living inside a set of her stories for a weekend was a dream come true.
