I went in to make applications for passports for my wife and I. Francis greeted us as we came in the door and made this my best experience of 2024?. She was highly competent and professional, along with a friendly personality.
Government workers get a bad rap too many times from my experience. Francis is a gem among more than a few I have encountered, and whoever hired her deserves high praise also.

I paid a ticket twice. I contacted them about my money returned. Since February I have been waiting still. I have contacted this office extremely regularly. Yet no matter who I talk to or what I say they refuse to give my money back. So now they have successfully stolen from me. I am beyond aggravated and disappointed thus is how they operate

All of the women I spoke with on the phone were friendly, clear, and competent. They made the process of handling an unfortunate topic very pleasant and calm. There are wait times on the phone, but they aren't long, especially if you just call again later. Thank you!

This is extortion. I will be filing a lawsuit against the county, as well as the corrupt business should my lawyer and personal detective find anybody in the county and redball recovery to be in cahoots. I was victim of a predatory gym membership, given no chance to be at a real court hearing, this joke of a city had a judicial hearing over the phone. and these no good low life city government officials are extorting naive college students of there hard earned money. The attorney said I don’t have to pay a dime they jumped on the chance to take my case and are actively looking for corruption in the funds of these two businesses.

They close the courthouse for covid 19 (rediculous) and open a window on the side of the building for doing business with the courts, but won't accept documents through the window, so I've got to go inside where it isn't (according to them) safe, but if I schedule an appointment to go inside then suddenly it is (according to them) safe.

I know the term kangaroo court isn't meant for this type of fiasco, so I will refrain from using it here, but this certainly isn't symbolic of a court system that demands respect.

I'll go in for my "appointment time" when it's safe for everyone, because that six hours from the time I was rejected filing paperwork at the window until my appointment time will make all the difference in the world for my safety and the safety of everyone else involved.

Our systems are completely and utterly broken and covid 19 is just putting the final nails in the coffin. I'm saddened by the state of our society.

Tl;dr: Call ahead so you don't waste your time because apparently our halls of Justice bow down to a virus.

And, yes, I'm frustrated.
