I honestly would give Wood River Health negative five stars but recently I spoke with a woman named Jesse w. And she was very very helpful, she seemed extremely compassionate nurturing and caring. I wish that all Health Care employees regardless of their position at Health Service facilities held this type compassion and where simply authentic when speaking to patients to the point that any patient listening could clearly feel that the person speaking to them honestly cared instead of everything being rushed and more about what Physicians, nurse practitioners and anyone else that in recent years I have been treated by ads at these offices. It's obvious that Wood River doesn't work for their patients and there's a broader agenda being pushed, and it's clear to see that that agenda is very obviously the most important criteria when a clinician meets with a patient regardless of how much this patient is in need of life-altering care. I know this because I've seen the change with my own eyes from the filthy contrast that obviously had no other option but to show it's true ugly shameful self. In 2016 I was a patient at Wood River receiving care for a horrific injury suffered from a gunshot wound and I received adequate medical attention with adequate medical attention directed towards my needs. Now I'm in an even worse Medical tragedy and it seems Wood River employee nurse practitioner Alexis feels as though she should treat every patient like their needs are all the same as if someone has the sniffles even if they do have rods surgically implanted in their back and broken bones throughout their whole torso. I wonder how people like that would feel if they received the same care that they dished out in their time of need. But it clearly all comes down to what insurance you have when you're being treated at wood Rivers offices, this place rather these places turn my stomach so bad from the lack of care and empathy that I've received that I've literally been unable to put myself together and bring myself into the office out of fear that I might just end up making things worse for myself in my situation if that's even possible at this point but from the care that I've received at this place I believe that it is quite possible and could very well be a Breaking Point if I were to ever have to sell my soul to the devil in order to get some basic medical treatment in the United States because at this place you're treated as if it were a fourth world country highly unrecommended if you value your own sanity

Been coming here for years and the receptionists are always very nice however it is extremely difficult to get into contact with your primary doctor. They don't seem very concerned with getting things done very fast. My doctor had told me they would put through a prescription and it's been almost three weeks with nothing at all, and it's been extremely difficult to get into contact.

This is the most frustrating place to get ahold of your doctor. If you need refills on medication better submit two weeks in advance. You can't get directly on touch with your primary . No ext to put in. Their portal is terrible. It's 2025, step it up. Yale New Haven and South County Health portal are fantastic. Nope guess they are stuck in 1952

Place is usually very good but the woman working the check in on 2/22/25 was horrific to speak with. She started off by telling me to put a mask on and if i get her sick she will “hunt me down” Idk if anyone wants to tell her that if she works in a place that they take sick visits and she doesn’t want to get sick maybe mask up herself or treat sick people like they’re sick? It’s not my fault and that’s why I’m coming here. She then all but called me a liar when i said I had called multiple times to try and get sliding scale paperwork. Billing told me they would retro my previous visits because I cannot seem to get an application she told me they lied and “if i can get them to wave a magic wand good for me” she then told me she wouldn’t take my paperwork when i asked her for a pen because i wouldn’t have my financial docs to go with it even though every page makes you initial that you have 90 days to provide it. She basically told me she wouldn’t take it then proceeded to tell me “I’m not trying to give you a hard time” i then said this has been anything but a hard time to which she flipped out and promptly closed her window. Now to find out if billing lied to me when trying to track down this mystical application.

Thank you very much for working with me, even after the times that I’ve struggled you guys have supported and help me to continue with my sobriety. I’ve been to other places that were not as understanding or willing to work with me as a person suffering from the disease of addiction. Their patience and drive to hold me accountable for my actions has made me mature in ways I never imagined possible. Thank you for not giving up on me when I went off track like so many have before. I push daily to keep it together and the support from you and the staff at woodriver keep my drive for success obtainable and I greatly appreciate everything.

This health clinic is overwhelmed and dangerous. Some of the health professionals there are actually really knowledgeable and caring if you can ever get an appointment with them. Some of them seem ignorant, uncaring and arrogant.

The dental services here are absolutely amazing and the staff is so so so sweet. Got me right in. Took great care of me. Answered all my questions clearly and exceptionally! Love love love this place and will forever come here!

This place is amazing. Besides the wait to get appointment which is everywhere they are so gentle and nice. They help with pain and a dental plan. Thank you for your patience I know my mouth was a job and you put me at ease at all times. The wait when u get there is normally fast to go back.
