Review of Water’s Edge (2/5 stars)

Unfortunately, rebranding this place hasn't improved the food or service. The lazy waitress spent more time on her phone than checking on customers. The dessert was shockingly small for the $6 price tag, making it a disappointing end to an already underwhelming meal.

The onion rings were soggy and drenched in grease, not crisp like they should be. The fried shrimp tacos were just okay—nothing special and a bit too spicy for my taste.

The view is the best part of Water’s Edge, but with so many TVs, it's hard to really enjoy it. On a positive note, the outside bathrooms were clean, which is more than I can say for the food.

Save your money and go somewhere else.

Very busy Friday night, sat at the bar welcomed promptly. We got our food within about 20 minutes of ordering. They were doing some sort of auction fundraiser but was enjoyable to see everyone having a good time and raising money for a good cause. My husband got wings and I got the shrimp both very tasty. And the Mac and cheese was the best I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time!! 😋 Cold beer and a good time !! 🍻🍻

Me and mom came here on our way back to South Carolina for lunch. It's a very nice restaurant/bar on the Steinhatchee River. I can see this being a fun friday night hangout! For lunch, I got the fried shrimp basket, which came with fries, they were really big shrimp. The shrimp were very good! My mom had th fish n chips basket with fries. The fish was Red fish and it was soooo good! I look forward to coming back here next time we visit home (salem)!

Bottle of ketchup exploded and ruined the grouper fingers. The waitress took them back to the kitchen, but I was told, "they would not replace them." Last time I patronized this establishment. I asked for the manager, whole table asked. No one ever came. We ALWAYS WENT to WHODAT when we are in town, BEFORE this incident. Haven't been back and, when friends come to town, we NEVER take them there anymore!!! Way to loose customers.

Great atmosphere. We went after church, I was hesitant because it's a bar (and grill), but the menu online grabbed my attention. My food was really good and it didn't feel like a bar. The view was perfect. I ordered the Philly and was very surprised, and impressed, when it came out with a chunk of steak instead of sliced steak. We will definitely go again.

I have had your steak, your shrimp, and even your cheeseburgers . Everything I've gotten from there has been wonderful. Also I am very grateful you're open on Tuesdays again. Keep up the good work. Perfect place to have lunch or dinner. Covered eating area. We got lucky and beat the rain. Service was excellent. My kids had the kids fish and they could have shared it. It was delicious
