Just came in for the first time today, what a fun experience! The woman who owns the store is so friendly and helpful. She also has very beautiful taste because I wanted to buy everything. I've consigned with this woman, since she opened. I brought in some shoes to consign, along with many other items. She went through the tiems and said she would try everything. Before the 30 day expiration, she took it upon herself to donate a primitive wall rack, to the church across the street. That was her first mistake. I've told her before, I have a hard time remembering what I drop off, due to a brain stroke. I trusted that she would give me a call, to have me pick up items she decided not to sell. She never did that. Instead, she put them in a bag, and hung them behind her desk, on a clothing rack. I made a drop off of items, in between the two months my shoes were behind the desk. She didn't remind me that that bag, with my name on it, was behind that desk. When I went to see if there was a cheque for me, or any items that didn't sell, I remembered the two pairs of shoes and hat, from before. I asked her for a print out and I examined it. Where are those red sandles? Not on the list. I asked her, (which was within my right), what happened to those sandles and shoes, and the hat, that I brought in the last time? You said you'd give them a try. What shoes? What hat? She begins to search the store. Then she told me that I must have taken them home. I said, I don't have them. I asked, what is going on here? She answered, are you saying that I stole them? I said, I don't know... you tell me, I brought them here and I never saw them again. You said you would try to sell them. Oh she said, let me check one more place.... and she goes behind the desk and spots the bag. Meanwhile she starts crying because she put words in my mouth, saying that I said she stole them. She hands me the bag, I apologized for any misunderstanding and she apologized for forgetting about the bag. Well... when I left, all was good. Today, months later, I brought in some things to consign. In front of her customers, she said that she took my name out of the system, and that she wasn't doing busines with her because I accused her of stealing. Well I didn't accuse her, she drew that conclusion all by herself. I was humiliated in front of her clientelle. I yelled out loud what she did to me, but some lady said that the owner is the most honest women she ever met. Well, I don't know her. All I knew is that I brought in a few items and I never saw them again.
There was no payment for them... and she never called me to tell me she changed her mind, to come pick up those items, including the wall rack she deced to donate to the Church accross the street. She stuck them in a bag, put my name on it and left it at that. I'd been in there twice since she stored them in the back and she never put a notation, in the computer, to give them to me and she never called me When I was there, I saw a pair of red shoes and I remembered, hey... what ever happened to my red sandals? If you're going to do business with this woman... don't rely on her to remember or make notes and especially.... DO NOT WAIT FOR HER TO CALL YOU BECAUSE SHE WON'T. My advice.... always call her to keep track of your things, in case she donates them or hides them from herself. She just told me to say prayers, because I am a liar. I never lie. . If you want to go to an excellent consignment shop, go to the Emporium, in Swansea or Estate Services in West Warwick. They have so many high end items, at reasonable prices. Also, just because someone is nice does not mean that they truly are. Being told, loudly, that they aren't taking your items, because you accused her of being a thief, when I did not, is humiliating. I never said that... I just wanted answers. If she is supposed to be so nice, why did she humiliate me in front of her clients. I was so angry, and still am. Heading for BBB website now.

this was by far the nicest, coziest little secondhand shop I have ever been in. I would recommend them to anyone looking for high quality items to buy. the owner was so kind and welcoming. 10/5!!!

We are so lucky to have such a beautiful consignment store in Chepachet! Whisky Pearl sells high quality second hand women's and men's clothing, shoes and jewelry. The storefront is all windows which makes the store so bright and inviting. They also carry a large selection of home decor, artwork, lighting, and furniture. Every time I go into Whisky Pearl, there are lots of new items in the clothing racks and on the shelves and walls, beautifully displayed, and very reasonably priced. The shop owner, Vian, is so wonderful and nice!

Whisky Pearl Consignment is a great place to shop!
The items are tastefully displayed and the prices are fantastic! You won't be disappointed. The shopkeepers are friendly and personable. I have made several purchases there. Tonight, I bought the hat!

Cute shop with reasonably priced items. They have furniture, artwork, clothing, and much more. The owner is so nice. I’m glad I stopped in and I will definitely be going back!

This was the perfect table for our downsizing into a two bedroom apt. Vian was so helpful and her shop is as charming as could be!!! Worth the trip to this nice little RI town.
