We really enjoyed our experience traveling on Amtrak. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The train had comfortable seating, large restrooms, outlets, and a cafe with tables to sit at.

The Amtrak Downeaster makes trips to Boston quick and fuss-free! The Wells train station was also clean and well lit with plenty of free parking.

Beautiful station in a quiet area. Theres an indoor place to sit with an information center, and there are also outside shaded seats. Lots of nature around, including chipmunks.

Wells Amtrak Station is easy in and easy out. Conveniently located across from the I95 turnpike entrance. Small but clean. Hop on the Nor’easter and you’re in Boston in under 2 hours!

We showed up today to take Amtrak and we didn’t get the Amtrak email with our reservation number or anything. The gentleman on duty today showed how to retrieve our reservation and print tickets on the Amtrak kiosk. This was our first time taking Amtrak and he was very helpful. The station is extremely clean and very nice. The station reminds me a time long ago.

The station is nice enough-an indoor place to wait and bathrooms (albeit not very nice). But if you're planning to take the train for a day trip here to Wells or Ogunquit without a car, think twice.

The Shoreline Explorer trolley basically goes in circles multiple times around Wells while you're on it(and ends at 4pm even in Summer). The closest it ever gets to Ogunquit is the Majestic Regency (nothing majestic about it in case you'd plan to stay there).

I was stranded in Ogunquit and could not get an Uber or Lyft to the Wells station to get my train home. Had to reschedule my departure. It's sad that the Wells and Ogunquit Chambers of Commerce do not provide free adequate efficient shuttle service from this station for tourists. With the horrendous traffic you would think they would try to reduce car usage.

There needs to be some Food/drink options while people wait!!! There is not even a vending machine!!!!!!? The closest restaurant is 2 miles away.

There should also be an express shuttle to Oguinquit since that is the popular destination near here.
