Why isn’t there a procedure in place for emergency services? I called to be told that they have 30 days. It didn’t bother them that I can’t afford groceries. While you’re enjoying the holiday I’m going to drinking water to stay alive. There’s situations and circumstances of all sorts. I’m amazed at the places and people that are supposed there to help.

This place needs management to come in and clean up the mess. They don't call you when they say they will for a interview. You go down there and they say they are going to call you and they still don't. Now I will be making a 3rd trip to ask for a supervisor because I don't have any other choice but to go up the chain of command and see to it they don't brush me off anymore. I bet if I was a illegal I would never have this problem!

I gave one star that's just because I had to. I am thankful for the services that I do get for being a single mother raising a small child. But a huge downside to the Waycross Dfcs office is there is no way to contact that office and speak to someone ever by phone when a lot of young women that are raising children, do not have the money for a vehicle to get up to the office to speak to someone in person after getting letter after letter in the mail demanding us to do something specific that most of us don't understand and we're told if we have any questions to callDfcs Office phone number and there's no answer ever or phone call back.

Made trips up there, have called and I never get a call back or response. Case worker was supposed to call, but never called even though they say they have and you know for a fact they haven’t.

Listen, LISTEN!!!! Some of us don't make much money to do everything we need to do so we come to y'all for help but yet y'all are being lazy, not answering phone calls like you should be, helping the families in need but you don't. Pick up the phone and applications!!! Do what you get paid to do!

After receiving an innocuous and cryptic letter from DFCS I attempted to contact not only the local office but the State office on the phone and got introduced to their version of "let's avoid answering questions by letting the computer answer the phones"! I find this to not only UNPROFESSIONAL, BUT A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TAX DOLLARS!! I spent 45 minutes attempting to locate someone to guide me to the appropriate parties to help translate this letter of "Gov speak"!!! Maybe I need to show up to the local office with the letter and demand an explanation

Have called several days and no answer or call back. Tried calling the 1- 877 number always telling me they have reached agent capacity. Called technical support cause I couldn't get my gateway to work. Done what they told me and still can't get into it. Did another application and no response to that either. Now I've been cutoff of the foodstamps.
Daughter in law got a letter on the 16th of February stating she had a phone interview on the 15th of February. Um that was messed up. She and I have called days trying to talk to someone about her case and no one will call us back. Now she is cut off.

I have to say right off the start that I have Mrs.Taylor from the Waycross office for my case worker. I like many others fell on hard times due to the pandemic. I was a little worried because I heard so many horrible stories about the Waycross Defacs office. But thank goodness I got Mrs.Taylor. She has been absolutely a blessing to me and my family. Every time I would call and have to leave a message she always called me back or text me back.Not one time has she not returned my call. She has truly gone above and beyond to help me get everything turned in correctly for my case. She knows I am going through some hard times with my sister in the hospital on life support due to the Delta variant Mrs.Taylor would ask me how she is doing and even cared enough to ask me if I was doing ok. Even though I have never personally met Mrs.Taylor I feel like I have known her my entire life because she cares about her clients and their family. All Defacs offices need more employees like her. Mrs.Taylor you truly are so sweet and caring you worry about your clients and their families.. I personally think you deserve a pay raise and a Standing Ovation for your hard work and caring about others. Thank you so much for everything ❣️
