This store is absolutely fantastic. If you are anywhere near the area, you have to stop in. I can honestly say that this is my #1 favorite supermarket on the entire island for dozens of reasons, but two big standout reasons. 1 >>> You really can find everything you could possibly need or want here and at fantastic prices. 2 >>> My kids and I had a blast hanging out here. I usually loathe shopping trips (same stuff, same place, chore, chore chore). Not this place! It reminded me of grocery stores when I was younger that had arcade games, claw machines and all kinds of crazy stuff to keep kids entertained. Not only do they have all of those things, they also have a HUGE full wall of vending machine-dispensed capsule toys. I didn’t even realize how much I miss that!

The staff is cool as can be, super nice, super helpful. I couldn’t believe they had so many self-checkout registers. It’s not something you ever expect to see at a locally owned place in general, then to also have several of them – that is beyond awesome. This place is the perfect combination of everything you could possibly hope for with price, variety, modern technology and convenience; with the added plus of being locally owned and operated.

The Departments: They were endless! I could have seriously stayed in there all day looking up and down every isle. They had live plants, awesome toys, pool gear, school and office supplies, art supplies, high quality craft sets (like wood burning kits). They had every type of pet food, bedding, treats, toys, baby animal care, litter - and even more than you can imagine, available in small or bulk quantities for regular house pets, farm animals and exotic pets. They have all kinds of outdoor gardening and lawn care items, house tools, magic kits, phenomenal gifting items (like sets of aromatherapy bath salts), camping and fishing gear, a fantastic meat and seafood department. The fruit and veg area was spectacular.

Even though the parking lot was full and I was there during a popular time, it didn't feel crammed at all in the store. They have there own lot with plenty of overflow parking and all the parking was free. It was quick and easy to get in and out of the store and parking lot. It was an A+++ experience all the way around.

I’m amazed with the services that Stacia and her team has provided for me as a regular customer. I spoke with a gentleman there and he provided me with excellent information about the prices of coconut milk which was 2 for $4 wow I saved myself by spending a lot at Don Quijote. Then I asked the gentleman if can hold 24 vans for me he said he’s going to ask his supervisor Stacia came on with the great customer service and she said yes they can hold them for me and when I get there ask for bakery, here I am a happy customer❤️ Thank you Waianae Store for having Stacia and that gentleman, I didn’t get his name for providing EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Waianae store has very good deals & friendly employees. Me & my other half had dropped money a few days ago & when we got home he noticed it was missing & we both were upset knowing it would be gone, as we shop at waianae store every day so we had gone back & the manager had noticed us & approached us asking us if we had dropped money the other day & we said yes and he said alright let's take care of that and returned our $40 thank you waianae store😊
