I had a sweet tooth one Sunday night, so I came here after seeing they had bread pudding. I was not disappointed.

The bread pudding was delicious by itself. I didn’t need the sauce that normally comes on it and it was still good. I was not a fan of the salted caramel ice cream they have to go with it though and would suggest them adding plain vanilla but other than that. It was a great solo dessert date. The staff and management were very nice, friendly, and welcoming.

I will be back to try some of their other food items and drinks, and I highly recommend.

We found this gem in Conyers last year and wanted to return. It did not disappoint. Had to sit at the bar because the tables were all reserved. Bar tender was friendly and had good recommendations. Recommended to try out, you will thank me. See y'all next year.

I had an amazing dining experience at Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar in Conyers! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The chicken and waffles had the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch, complemented by a drizzle of syrup that tied it all together. The deviled eggs with crab meat were a unique and flavorful twist—each bite was packed with a savory punch.

The highlight of the evening was the Gullah-inspired main course, featuring perfectly cooked rice, tender shrimp, and an incredible sauce that I couldn't get enough of. The roasted corn added the perfect touch of sweetness and freshness to the dish.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a place with bold, authentic flavors and a great vibe, I highly recommend Virgil's Gullah Kitchen & Bar. I’ll definitely be back soon!

Our waitress Jada was GREAT and very attentive! The food was well seasoned and came in a decent amount of time after ordering. The music not being obnoxiously loud was a plus. I will be visiting again!

“I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was excellent—the waitresses were friendly and professional. The drinks were great as well! However, the food quality didn’t quite match the wait time. The chicken was very dark, almost burned, which made it clear the grease needed to be changed. The greens were overly salty . We also had to wait 20 minutes before even placing our order, which wasn’t ideal. The mac and cheese had a good flavor, but after waiting 25 minutes for it, it wasn’t even hot when it arrived.

Overall, the experience had its highlights, but the food quality and long wait times could definitely use improvement. I hope they make some adjustments because the potential is there!

Jeremiah was an amazing waiter. The service & food is just absolutely some of the best southern dishes I've had since I lived in the area. I was in Charleston looking for an authentic gullah restaurant when I found this place, but it was definitely too far at that time for dinner, but here we go 9 months later.

I've been here for lunch when we first moved to Conyers. Came here for my birthday and was not disappointed. Service, food, and drinks were excellent. When you come for dinner it's not just a meal it's an experience.

We felt very welcome, food was out of this world, great service and cocktail. Ambiance, decor…felt like we were truly having a fine dining experience. My daughter just moved there so I’m sure we’ll be back! (I can’t find it to choose, below, to recommend, but the she crab soup could start its own religion it’s so good)
