We recently stayed at Velkommen Inn during a family trip to Lake Meridian State Park, and it truly exceeded our expectations. This is hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in a small town!

The rooms were spotless, the pool was clean and inviting, and the views from the pool area were surprisingly beautiful. What really made our stay special, though, were the people, the staff were incredibly friendly, respectful, and always willing to help.

It’s rare to find a place like this in a quiet town, and I honestly wish every small town had a hotel like Velkommen Inn. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area!

This hotel actually far exceeded my expectations upon booking. We needed a place in the area last minute and found this location. Rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable enough for the price. The pool is quite nice, and the lobby is a nice space. I have paid more for higher end hotels that weren’t as nice. Would recommend.

Our 3rd stay at Velkommen Inn, and this was, again, a very nice time! Clean, comfortable room, eco-friendly amenities, nice breakfast, and refreshing pool. Good internet connection for my long meetings.

Pretty good hotel. Good parts are the pool and quick check in. Our room was very clean and the staff was friendly. An area for improvement were the towels (only gave us two towels and we were a party of 4 so we had to go down to ask for more, next day when towels were replaced for clean, only left us 3 towels). The blanket on the bed is very thin.

Nice and convenient place for us to stay while visiting family in the area. Personnel were nice. Management allowed our small family to gather in their lovely lobby to exchange gifts on Christmas. We have stayed here before and will stay again.

I recently stayed overnight at this hotel and I would highly recommend it!!! There were a few things that were outdated in my room, but the bed was extremely comfortable and everything was clean. The hotel is charming, centrally located and as a woman traveling alone I felt quite safe. Most of all, the staff was willing to work with me on my departure when a freak flood closed off the exits to leave Clifton!!
