Balling on a budget? this is the place for you! i love how it was in the middle of the district and the lobby super cute. this place is perfect for a one night trip to sf. i was aware of the shared bathroom spaces but it felt like college freshman dorms. the walls are pretty thin but if you really tire yourself all day and drink you’ll sleep like a baby! room is small but perfect for a solo or couples trip. i would definitely recommend bringing your own blankets and pillow to put over the bed i did see stain but still very comfortable

Better than expected!
Came as a solo traveler with the shared bathroom. The room is small but does the job. Stayed here for 4 nights and the location was amazing! Service was amazing!
It feel like you’re staying at a friends house with the shared bathroom. It was always clean every couple of hours.
I would recommend having a night mask and possible fan since the outside lights are always on. I would come here next time and try the private bathroom.

Location of this place was amazing!! Tons of things to do in the area. Area felt pretty safe compared to some streets of San Francisco.
Polite front desk staff. Room was pretty clean but clothes left under bed and in between bed and wall. When traveling we really only spend enough time in the room to sleep and get going for the next day. So this was all we needed at a great price for location. Food and entertainment within walking distance.

The room was a bit dated and mix match style. Guy on reception was nice,he kept my luggage after check out.
Definitely plus for this place is location: close to Castro and Dolores, metro,tram,buses or supermarket with walking distance.
Will come back.

Do not stay here scam they took my money never returned it then when I called to ask what I had to do or if there was an issue they started yelling at me and being rude and basically told me I had to wait And then hung up in my face I had made reservations prior for an entire week I left early because I felt unsafe they won't return my $150 deposit which should have been added to the price. It feel very inconvenient but I paid it then when I left and checked out it seems like it is pulling teeth to get the deposit back when there's nothing wrong on my end and my bank said it's not them. It's the hotel has to release it and they continue to give me the runaround and just hung up in my face very unprofessional. Also the room was disgusting. There was poop on the sheet. There was dirty clothes in a bag inside of the closet that smelt there was an id of some guy that room was disgusting. There was stuff on the roof. Maggots a. Tampon socks the last day I stayed there a guy was on the roof. I'm a girl. All by myself made me nervous so I left early. I still had 2 days. I feel like I deserve a refund for those two days and I would like my deposit back. I don't know what to do. If the person on the roof was a worker that should have been communicated to me prior to and a screen should be put on both windows including the one in the bathroom. It's a business, not a house also the bed is very old done for should be changed. Very uncomfortable. Made my back hurt. I wonder why you wouldn't care more about your clientele that you would put. A bed that is done for has holes and you sink into it in parts. It's the springs are coming out. It's very uncomfortable. Very old. Definitely didn't feel safe with the door and the window situation And I was confused why the rooms had cheap locks but the worker had a nice digital regular hotel type of lock. While everybody else didn't have that kind of lock, it was more of a house lock which seemed unsafe in case of a situation

I stayed here for over a week — I knew it was budget, shared bathrooms and all, and was fine with that. But the musty smell, thin walls, and spotty WiFi made the stay rough. What really left a bad taste was the staff complaining about one towel with makeup/red stains. After spending over $1,000 here? On cheap towels? Completely unnecessary. If you just need a place to crash, it’ll do — but don’t expect great service or hospitality.

Staff was really friendly and offered good advice for things around the area. The location was great, so many things to go do or see close to the hotel. My only gripe I had with the location was trying to find parking close to there, but it's the city so that's to be expected. The room itself was nice, small but accommodating. I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely stay there again. Can't beat the price either!

The hotel is in a very convenient location and it's not too expensive when compared with similar ones. The room was clean and quiet. Definitely coming back here on my next trip to San Francisco.
