Great location first of all. It was our first time going there. The atmosphere needs to be updated but the food is American based with Caribbean flavoring. We had the lamb chops and the Tortuga bang bang chicken. Both were on point and full of flavor. Happy hour starts at 4pm-7pm with some $5 drink specials. If you want something different with a different twist, then this is the spot for you.

I totally agree with all the 5 star ratings! We went there tonight for the 1st time since the new ownership. Wanted to try something new, and we were glad we did! Service was outstanding! I believe her name is Kayla? She was very attentive. We ordered the Salmon, Brussels Sprouts, Crab fries, ribs, pork chops, and fish bites. There were 4 of us and we all tried a little of everything. The only complaint I have is that I wish they would layer the Crab fries so the sauce gets all the way through, otherwise the flavor of everything was absolutely awesome. Their Happy hour is very good. 4-7pm everyday. $1.50 domestic bottles, $1.00 off drafts, and half price certain appetizers. This will be one of our new regular places to eat. Please try! You won't be disappointed!!!

This restaurant and its staff absolutely outperformed themselves from start to finish! Desiree and Emily took excellent care of us and made phenomenal recommendations from the crab cake sandwich and Rockfish to any of the half-priced happy hour appetizers!

My husband and I have date night at Tortuga every other weekend. The food is always delicious. We have tried almost everything on the menu. The service is always on point. The bartenders are friendly and make a great drink. I recommend the restaurant to all of our friends. You must try it out yourself, you will not be disappointed.

We met friends there for dinner on Friday evening. Appetizer was ordered at 6:20 along with drinks. Waited at least a half hour for anyone to check on us for more drinks or to even take our food order. Still no appetizer, mind you it was waffle fries with crab meat on it . Should not take that long. Finally get our food order taken and it took at least 45 minutes. It wasn’t that busy! The waitress brought my meal , another 5 minutes I asked her when might the other 3 get their food?
We notice one of the waitresses come out of the kitchen with a plate and walks around calling out what meal is on the plate until she gets to a table that claims it. This happens all evening. The rest of the meals at our table (4 of us) comes out single and by the waitress calling out the food until claimed, one of the plates actually went to a wrong table and she went back and got it . A crab cake meal was two crab cakes with a lot of filler and some French fries for $34 ! Not worth it at all. Our total bill for two of us was $74 and the food was not anything special. And the service was a joke ! I’m giving the atmosphere a 3 , only because it looked nice inside.

The food took forever to come out which I thought was because they busted opened at 4 and it was 4:30. Nope just slow. Food was hot which was nice. Our food and appetizer came out at the same time. The crab cake sandwich tasted like it was dunked in oil. Our service was horrible no refills and kept forgetting about us. We will not be back...

I was here last Sunday after church. Great atmosphere for a restaurant with good food. Their lamb chops were top-notch!! Our server was very nice and sweet.I'm definitely coming back again.

I am giving 4 stars only because i asked for a medium-rare steak, but i was served a medium-well.
They have good serving-sizes, that’s a plus.
The new server was awesome & nice.
