Pad Tai with chicken. Not what I expected, absolutely delicious. I am on a business trip, the quality of their food makes me wish I came here more often, had them closer to home, making it real hard to return to the places near home. Tong Ta has raised the bar on what good food is.

Nice clean and new. Lots of space. I always try Pad Thai the first time I go to a Thai restaurant to compare with others. The waitress suggested I try it with shrimp and medium spicy. It was fantastic. I wish I would have taken a picture to upload, but I didn’t know the gentleman I was with and it was a business meeting. He is from India and got a green curry dish with tofu. He was impressed as well. For appetizer we got spring rolls. They were nice and crispy with plenty of tasty fillings. I also had an espresso martini- it was delicious. I’m sorry I did not get pictures. The visual presentation of the dishes was very pleasing. The food was prepared quickly.

Good to experience that the new owners have kept the great quality and service from the previous establishment. My Holy basil dish was outstanding as well as Red and Massaman curry’s, as well as crispy tofu, tofu pad thai, pineapple friend rice and Tom Yum soup. Everything was delicious, first rate and I’ve eaten at a ton of Thai restaurants all across the US

First time customers, went last weekend with my mom and daughter. First impressions are the place is big and beautiful; very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The service was attentive and thorough, the food came out rather quickly. Purchased: papaya salad, fried tofu, fresh rolls, pad kee mow and eggplant with beef. Everything was extremely good and I especially loved the fresh rolls. Best I've ever had, big and fresh with two dipping sauces. My katsu-style chicken served with my drunken noodles was tender and crisp. We all enjoyed our time and our meal and will plan to go ahead sometime very soon. Very very good !

So the good...Food was decent, about what you'd expect for a Thai restaurant in America, Pad Thai, Drunken noodles etc all standard fare. The bar service was good, we had a drink at the bar first before we sat down. So for the not so good ..This should have been a red flag, as on a Saturday night at 730pm the place was almost empty. We sat, food as explained service wasn't the greatest but wasn't terrible. Now for the part where we won't come back...The place closes at 930pm, but around 915, when we are still eating they got the vacuum out and were vacuuming the carpet, resetting all the silverware, clanking and then the piece de resistance, an alarm loudly blaring that went on and on and on. So to recap, food okay, service tolerable, atmosphere awful. Dine in at your own risk. We won't.

Pros: Food is decent but inconsistent. Nice bar. Cons: Service is lazy and sub par. Drafty with poor climate control. Unclean smell, gross bathroom. Better Thai options elsewhere.

one of the best thai food I’ve ever had!! ive been to Tong-D’s sister restaurant Heng a lot of times and South County definitely needs Tong-D here. Absolutely loved their tom yum chicken soup, that is definitely a must try! the pad-c-u with the crispy chicken was very well flavored. we also got the hot basil fried rice and I added pineapples to it, the basil was fresh and not overwhelming at all. everything was cooked to perfection. we got everything level 5 spiced and it was great!!

Was seated almost immediately, plenty of space, and the food was phenomenal. Also, massive portions. Definitely get what you pay for
