We got the trio (steak,chicken, shrimp & lobster ($35), which came with a tiny salad & rice. The chicken was a bit firm, and Shrimp had a hint of orange flavor. I asked for the steak to be rare & it was melt in your mouth. The Big Mama lives up to its name...... It BIG & really good. It's a bit pricier than some,but ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I definitely recommend trying it out.

First time at this new location. Been going to the old for a while that some of the staff remembers me. New place is nice and fresh. The food it let me down, was expecting the same quality and taste. It was lacking in some of the extras tastebuds. Was good but not great as it once was. I remember the fried rice get salt, pepper and some secrete seasonings, was salt, seafood was not seasoned as it once was. I don’t mind to pay more since this new building but give me that flavor I love please. Make sure portion are worth it, felt on the small side for the price. I want to come back please take my recommendations. I’m okay for the price but let’s get the food portion and taste up there.

Tokyo has & always will be my go to hibachi spot. Their food is always cooked fresh & the staff is always so accommodating. Their prices can't be beat in my opinion. Sushi is amazing as well, my favorite is the dancing roll. If you need a reason to give it a try I promise you won't be disappointed.

We’ve always been huge fans of Tokyo Hibachi, and now that they’ve moved to a brand-new location just half a mile from the original, we’re even more impressed. The new space is expansive and beautifully designed, creating an even better dining experience. The food remains outstanding, and the staff is as exceptional as ever. No matter how many times we visit, we know we’ll never get tired of coming here!

I visited the old Tokyo a few years ago, service was terrible back then (2017/18) never returned. Today I was in Monroe with my wife and decided to try it again. I thought maybe the new building etc would be different. Nope, same.
Went in, we were seated, and the waiter didn’t even give us and the other patrons enough time to even review the menu. And he stood there waiting and puffing.. we ordered food and didn’t even have time to review the sushi part of the menu. He brought my wife her juice and Arnold Palmer that I ordered, soup and salad. Didn’t see him again.. 20/30 mins went by and nothing. I thought that as fast as they took the order, service would be quicker.
Anyways, we got up, paid for the drinks and person at register asked what happened, I said, terrible service, he said ok.

Yeah the acoustics aren’t amazing. But I came here for their classic taste and amazing service! This new location is awesome, and they deserve it! AMAZING FOOD, from the same classic chefs!

I been going to Tokyo restaurant for years, there new location is really nice, I feel nostalgic for the old 1, but the food is still amazing, I recommend the eel crunch to anyone even if you don't like sushi, some are funny about raw fish but the eel is cooked, highly recommend, Ramon is good sushi good. Nice staff, I would give a higher star review but it only goes to 5.
