This was the best seafood of the 5 places we visited in Maine (Portland, Bar Harbor). The lobster meats were so good, and plenty of it. My lobster salad was the favorite. The lobster Mac-n-cheese was awesome, so much chunks of lobster. The best surprise was the blueberry ice cream, although the pie was excellent. Our party of 6 agreed that this was our best stop for lobsters & seafood. The clams & mussels were cooked perfectly, not over cooked like some places. Prices are very very reasonable compared to others. Add this place to your list. You will be delighted. There’s always a long line, but it moves pretty quick. The cider & IPA were very good.

We were pleased to stumble upon this place, after a long day of hiking. You order food at the left-hand queue and desserts / drinks at the right.

The lobster was good and reasonably priced. The price seems to vary according to the market conditions... It could usefully have come with a slightly sturdier cracker and a metal pick (rather than a wooden one) but that's a small gripe. Also, would be good to have salt out, to add to the corn, which was unseasoned. I should have asked, but I was enjoying the lobster too much to get up.

The blueberry pie was too sweet for our taste, but we're no experts on it (it was our first).

After a sunrise hike and days of camping in Acadia we decided to eat out for lunch. We ordered a Roll and Panini. Now this is not a cheap place to eat and the line is long. We got a beer and relaxed in chairs enjoying a cool October day.

The panini was the most flavorful enjoyable reward in food form that I have ever experienced. Even with it's price tag I really wanted another, but we had dinner plans. I

I was in line for 20mins to get the lobster roll ~ really worth it. The bread with heated butter brings up the taste of lobster. Lobster meat is fresh and tender. They also have a fair price.

I cannot stop thinking about the lobster roll at this restaurant. We’ve been to quite a few throughout Maine and collectively compare it to this as the standard. I highly recommend it over all others. The apple cider is also extraordinary. Planning my next visit as we speak.

Very good place to go convenient to Bar Harbor area. The lobster was prolific in the roll, ample butter provided. Corn 🌽 was good, and a nice complement. Mac & cheese was nice and creamy.
The roll is just a hot dog bun, so simple and showcases lobstah.
I would go back for sure, but if you have a little time I think heading over to Beal's is worth the trip. I thought a bit better 😉

We tried lobster several times while in Maine, and we wish we would’ve just came back to The Travelin Lobster each time. They have the best lobster rolls and offer several different options, which is nice if you do not want the typical butter option. We got the classic and hot rolls and loved them both.
