Absolutely gorgeous house with large old rooms that have been restored with all the necessary modern amenities. The downstairs common area was also quite relaxing. The owner was very accommodating and gracious. We had a quiet night with no disturbances for a good rest.

Tarratine Inn was one of the very best Inns we have ever stayed at. The owners are amazing, with attention to detail above all others. Every amenity that you could need. We will absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone staying in town. Close to so many great places.

The Tarratine inn is a nice inn and the ambiance was nice. Our unit was clean and well cared for. The innkeeper Bob met us when we arrived and even helped carry our luggage in. When hurricane Helene hit our area in Florida, he was able to extend our stay for another day. He was very helpful. We stayed multiple nights as its location allows for visiting many places to include Bar Harbor. I really thought they could have done better with their pastry and fruit as for the most part the pastry was left over and stale and the fruit old. The coffee was good, and the ambiance of the Inn and the helpful attitude of Bob made up for the stale pastry and leftover fruit. Therefore, I am happy to give this establishment a 5. |Sally B

I can't say enough about this place. Everything was fantastic. A real gem and will definitely be back. Loved all the history, very tastefully renovated. We basically had the whole house to ourselves. They also own the restaurant next door and provided gift cards. The meal and service was also fantastic! The hosts were so nice and informed us of the history and places to visit while there. A++++ stay! Thanks Tricia and Bob!

This inn is amazing. We stayed here one night coming into Maine and one night going out. Rooms were super clean and comfy. Beds were top notch. Rooms had a Keurig machine which my husband was thrilled. Breakfast was so relaxing and great. Easy walking distance to downtown with restaurants and shops. The host were super friendly.

Cannot rave enough about this historic and quaint inn. Everything was clean, comfortable and the service was amazing! I lost my phone when I arrived and they personally drove me around to help me find it. Will definitely be booking a room here again in the future.

The inn is so beautiful and the Chase Smith room was incredible. The bed and pillows were the best we’ve encountered while traveling. I only wish we’d had a longer stay to enjoy breakfast at the inn and a meal at the owner’s restaurant around the corner. We’ll definitely be back!

We have dined and stayed at The Tarratine multiple times for Valentines, Christmas, New Years etc.| |You don't want to spend your special day worrying about your accommodations or meals and the staff at the Tarratine gets it right every time.||We will definitely be back again!
