We’ve been here one year now and are quite happy with our home. The location is fantastic. It’s close to both highways, it’s not far from downtown Frederick, and the local area is peaceful.
The apartments are well made and give us a very spacious home environment, with a small, but comfortable, balcony. It gets a little windy in the stairwells in winter, but that’s not too bad.
The grounds are (generally) clean, and the area feels very private despite being up against the main road. It’s nice to take a walk through the neighborhood at any time of day, or night.
Honestly it’s the staff that I appreciate most. From the office to the maintenance team, they are all wonderful to engage with. Coming in, they welcomed us, and it made the move easy. Any issue that’s arisen has been responded to quickly and professionally. They are good people and that makes a big difference.

I lived here for about 2.5 years, and only left due to an expanding family and the need for a standalone house. My experience with the staff, facilities, amenities and the apartment itself was top notch. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to maintenance needs and keeping the grounds looking good. The pool is great and the apartment itself was clean and up to date. The community is fairly quiet, and truly feels like home. Was very impressed and grateful for my time living here, it was bittersweet to leave...!!

EJ the maintenance guy has been amazing! He always gets around to you quickly. I told him about my AC issue (non emergency) and within 2 days he was there fixing it. I've never waited long at all when there has been an issue. At my old apartment the water heater was no good, he came the very next day with a new one. You just hear of all these horror stories about people waiting weeks to get help and I just feel so thankful I've never had too. And he's doing this all on his own mind you. WAY TO GO EJ!!!!! YOU ARE THE MAN!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I love the women in the office. Super friendly and helpful. They do a great job maintaining the property. I have been here for years, but new neighbors moved upstairs. I don’t know if it’s the new wood flooring. You can hear every foot step, when they are running it’s like a storm. I can hear their dog cry through the ceiling. It’s getting unbearable. You shouldn’t be able to hear voices through the ceiling. I do not believe neighbor is at fault. It’s just an unfortunate situation.

My experience has been very pleasant. Love the area and the neighborhood. The Reserve at Ballenger Creek apartment homes is a hidden gem to find. A lovely place to live.
