I came after the lunch rush. There were people eating inside and out. Cari was the bartender and my server. She was so nice and friendly. She also went above and beyond, trying to navigate one of my eating restrictions. The food was excellent. I had the Chicken Tenders meal. With Fries and coleslaw. Then I went outside to check out river. 💯 Recommend The Quarry Tap room. Indoor and outdoor seating.

The chefs cut this day was ribeye. It was cooked perfectly and was amazingly delicious. The other fish pictured is the chicken pot pie. That was all that good, kinda watery and wasn’t seasoned very well, but the daughter still liked it.

Very tasty and good service. Waitress recommended the blackened fish tacos since i was in the mood for fish and they were delicious. Much spicier than i expected but oh so tasty and the fish was moist. The onion rings were deliciously crispy as well. We sat outside and had issues with some beetles but the inside was nice and cozy.

For an already popular place, I expected a certain level of service. Shame on me! The manager, Steve, DELIVERED. He not only answered my reservations request on an extremely busy day, he ensured a member of the staff called me. Lydia, our server, was fun, patient, and made us feel at home. The Quarry Tap Room is the real deal, with an AWESOME staff and great food. THANK YOU for exhibiting the customer service that is so great in Maine!!

One of the best places for lunch. We were lucky and the weather was beautiful, we could sit outside. Lobster roll was the best. Onion rings were so good. Loved everything. If you are visiting and looking for great food and service this is the place 👌

Don't sleep on the Green Chicken Chili. As my daughter would say, it was cooking. The rest of the food was excellent, very good menu options. The only complaint was that the dining room/ bar area was cold with the doors opening in the front and on the side. My wife ate with her coat on, but we are Mainers, so it comes with the territory.

Update: Within the hour I posted my review a lady contacted me, who I'm assuming is the owner or manager and she was very apologetic and wants us to come back soon. When a owner/manager reaches out to you, you know they care about their customers and customer service. Very professional and a kind gesture and it shows you how they value all their customers. You definitely don't see that often. She was super sweet and we will definitely be back.

To start off, the food is excellent. I had the fish tacos with french fries. The tacos are super messy, but delicious. Tons of spice in it, if you like spice I definitely recommend it. Ordered fried lasagna bites, really tasty, only a hint of it being lasagna but still really good. My husband had fish and chips, the fish was really flaky and filling. Really good flavor. French fries were good also. I ordered the alcohol drink markers manhattan, trust me when I say don't order that, it's terrible and I chugged it down as fast as I could only because I paid for it. You get only one black cherry and that's gross too.

Now on to the bad. Out of respect I'll leave the name of the waitress out, and while she was reasonably nice, she lacked attentiveness and observation, never checked back to ask how the food was until the end, she didn't even bring the food to the table. Another girl who is a young blonde who was new brought out our food and she was a pleasure, asked us if we needed anything else and was exceptionally polite. I believe her name is Haiden. Just because the waitress herself wasn't very attentive doesn't mean she was bad at her job but she needs to make sure her tables are all set and not just dissappear most of the service. My goal isn't to get anyone in trouble which is why I didn't include her name but if others followed Haiden's observation with the customers service in general would be even better.

The bathroom was exceptionally clean and huge, plenty of space to move around, a cabinet you can use to put your phone on it or whatever. The door to the bathroom has cool decor. The bar itself has plenty of tables and seating, but we sat in the dining room, plenty of tables everywhere. They have tables outside to eat as well. They have two tv's in the bar. Parking is kinda crazy. It's on the street parking but you can also park out back. Free parking.

I got food poisoning from eating here in August that had me ill for six days AND I developed septic arthritis in my ankle and reactive arthritis in my knee as a rare complication from the food poisoning I got from this restaurant, costing me over $1,000 in medical fees, and my ankle and knee will most likely never function the same. Thank goodness I didn't lose my foot from sepsis but I regret going here. I won't go here ever again. I got the fish and chips when I went. The first red flag for me should have been that the cole slaw that came with mine looked as though someone had already eaten part of it - I did take a picture of the cole slaw (to the right of the one my husband received) so you can see mine looked off. I ate the entire piece of fish I received, my husband only ate half of his as he wasn't very hungry. The next day, we both got sick. My husband's sickness cleared up after a day. Mine dragged on for almost a week, and then two months of complications after that. Since he and I had been separated for a few days before eating here, it was obvious this was where we got sick from. I've heard from someone who worked here that the kitchen sometimes skimps on food safety practices because the kitchen and dishwashing area are on opposite sides of the restaurant and they can't be bothered to walk all the way sometimes.
