Mariner Resort staff were very courteous and friendly. The River House was just beautiful. Everything was so clean and well appointed. We had plenty of pillows, blankets, hangers, toiletries, and bathroom linens. The kitchen provided everything we needed to make our meals in the way of utensils, dishes, pots and pans. You need to provide your own coffee, sugar, etc., and seasonings for food if desired. There is coffee in the morning at the main building if you want to walk up. There were 2 ice cube trays in the freezer, so I filled them when we arrived. There was dish soap for handwashing and pods for the dishwasher. They have a stacked washer and dryer off the kitchen; bring your laundry supplies if you want to use the them. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the views were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting in the rooms that faced the tidal river and out on the porch. There is one TV in the home. The River Home is a place to find respite and connection. Seeing the stars from our bed and hearing the roar of the ocean in the distance made us smile. If you have someone who is disabled/needs assistance, we found it helpful to drop off at the front door before parking down behind the building. My 91 year old father said the stairs were worth the climb to have the views from his bedroom on the second floor. He really enjoyed his visit. I would definitely consider a flight into Portland to stay here again. It's well situated in the area for traveling locally or going north or south, and the restaurants are plentiful. The grocery store isn't far. I highly recommend the Mariner Resort River House.

It was a very cute suite where we could see the sun rising from our bed. Nice private deck. The pool and hot tubs were nice, the place was well taken care of, the price was reasonable for off season for what we got. We can’t wait to go back again in the spring.

I caught this place on an end of season rate and loved it. It is centrally located and has a wonderful view. I would stay here again if I could catch it for the same price. Stayed in middle of October, an unseasonably warm October, and got the room for about $140 a night.

My family has been coming here for generations now, Parents dragged us down from Nova Scotia as kids in the 90s and I’m just wrapping up a trip with my daughter. This spot is timeless and beautiful. The view for the price cannot be beat. The staff (and guests) are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are immaculate especially considering the age of the resort. We will be returning for many years and Ogunquit has a space in our family heart forever. Thank you Mariner staff for a wonderful trip and look forward to staying in the future.

Positive: Cleanliness. Proxmity to beach and other places. Beautiful view. Pool is clean. Negative: I didn?t realize the office closed at 9:30 for check-in. Arrangements made for later check in though.

Cute (and clean!) motel with a beautiful backdrop to the marshes. We didn't have to worry about the potential for bugs in October. A lot of restaurant options around and close to downtown, but far enough away to avoid all the noise.

I am reluctant to leave an excellent review as more will find this gem. We stayed at their River House and could not have been better. Well equipped. Lots of room and baths and really comfortable beds. We just love this place for rooms or house. Staff is great and the pools are great.
