Great food at reasonable prices. Pleasant service from the young serving staff and a nice welcome from one of the owners (I think) who mans the queue at the door.

You're invited to go in when there is cooking capacity and you order at the bar. The food comes out 5-10 minutes later. The chowder was particularly enjoyable. The lobster rolls were also very good.

Located at Perkins cove Ogunquit , we walked into this tiny little spot and we paid upfront to order our meal.

We ordered Lobster Stew & Lobster Roll .The service was was prompt and the food came out quick.

The Roll was quite small and had just enough meat for one. Lobster Stew tasted good with chunks of lobster meat , creamy and delicious .

The meal was good but left us hungry, given the size and quantit.

Ordering your own meal would be the ideal option.

The Lobster Shack is family run with the same person since 1988 and he waits on you when you place your order.

The Lobster roll was fresh and delicious with a good amount of Lobster with no fillers. Clearly one of the best you will find anywhere.

The chowder was very good and more like a fish chowder.

A lunch lobster special is the deal of the day. It includes 2 one pound lobsters, which were sweet, delicious and meaty. In addition you get corn on the cob and coleslaw, which is tasty and is not loaded with mayonnaise.

The fish tacos have fresh haddock, guacamole and a special sauce. I am not a fan of fish tacos, but these are delicious and always a go.

The rustic atmosphere is is picnic table in a shack. This is not a gourmet setting but a rustic setting which makes it special.

The bottom line is the Lobster Shack is a guaranteed great meal in an authentic New England atmosphere.

Loved this hidden gem! Lobster roll was amazing and we had a special they had of a bowl of clam chowder and a lobster roll with chips and a pickle for $32. You can’t beat that and the spot by the water is great! Clam chowder was a little thin for my liking, but that’s a personal preference. I loved the amount of food we got for the price and there was plenty of meat. We will be back!

We were here 15 years ago on our honeymoon and got amazing fresh lobster. We were not disappointed when we returned this month with our kids! Lobster and lobster rolls were excellent, as was the clam chowder and my kid's cheeseburger. Service was quick and friendly after we waited in line to get to the counter. I would have waited in a line twice as long for that soup and lobster! Can't wait to return to this awesome shack!!

We had the lobster rolls and a cup of chowder. Listen, I know that lobster rolls are supposed to be the Maine specialty. But, I've never had something that looked so good, and cost so much, taste so... bland. Maybe I hyped it up in my head. I don't know. If this is what the Maine lobster hype is all about, I'll stick to the seafood we have on the Gulf Coast. The chowder was good, though.

The food is so fresh. We share'd the warm lobster roll with butter… the sautéed haddock sandwich… and a cup of chowder. Everything was absolutely over the top good!! Service was awesome… atmosphere is an old school lobster shack… nice AC on a warm evening. But the food was definitely the star of the show.

The food is really good but not extraordinary. The service is really good and their system for getting your order and getting you seated is great. The atmosphere is really nice and they do have sit down dining.
