What a wonderful find in Ogunquit. My husband and I only visit Ogunquit once a year in the fall and had not yet found a "go to" place. That all changed with our recent stay at the Inn on Shore Road. We actually ended up at the Inn by accident; we were staying at another property owned by the OGT Inns group, and were moved here after an issue with the other location. Upon walking in the door, the decor was beautiful and the charm was evident. You can easily tell that great care was taken to place each item throughout the common areas. Our room was on the top floor with a lovely street and water view. The room was small, cozy, and quirky in the best way. The bed was extremely comfortable and bath products were luxurious. The two things that really sold us, though, were the fantastic breakfasts and cleanliness of the room. The breakfast baskets each day came with a lot of delicious, freshly made food items and an admirable variety. Lisa was the innkeeper on duty for our stay and was a complete delight. Thank you for everything. We have recommended this spot to others and look forward to visiting again.

Just recently rented the Inn for my husbands 60th Birthday weekend celebration. The Inn is beautiful, has a high end luxury feel, yet is comfy and cozy. All of our guests loved their rooms and the communal feel. A huge shoutout to Lisa the innkeeper! Her hospitality, friendly demeanor, and amazing breakfast each day, set the tone for a relaxed and fun filled weekend. Cannot recommend the Inn on Shore Road enough! Thank you for a most memorable weekend.

Spent the weekend here and loved the entire experience. Our room was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was served in a small picnic basket and was delicious. Abby, the innkeeper, had prepared the meal. The proximity to the center of town was very convenient. Parked the car for the weekend and never had to use it. Highly recommend this charming inn.

We had previously stayed at the Inn's sister property (Moon Over Maine) for yearly vacations and knew we wanted to invite our family to stay with us at one of the OGT Inns for our wedding. We worked with innkeeper Abby to book out the entire place for our close family over the weekend and it was wonderful. Abby was SO accommodating of all the family's various needs, from dietary restrictions to grandparents' mobility impairments. As always the hospitality was above and beyond and we will be back!

This was my first time staying at the Inn on Shore Road. I stayed on the second floor in a room with a deluxe king and balcony overlooking Shore Road with distant views of the Atlantic. The Inn is tastefully decorated. Common areas are cozy and inviting with comfortable furnishings and homemade cookies and sweets and refreshments available for guests to enjoy. Plenty of complimentary umbrellas were on the front porch and came in handy for my second (rainy) day there. The room I stayed in was spacious. There were plenty of chairs to sit in and relax, a large bathroom with a nice collection of toiletries and plush towels. The room has large windows facing the east and south that allow sun to blanket it in bright warmth. The breakfasts, prepared fresh daily, are available for pickup just outside the kitchen in a large picnic basket. I enjoyed a ham, egg, and cheese biscuit with chocolate chip muffins, blueberry yogurt, a fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of orange juice. An assortment of coffee and teas are available just outside the kitchen for you to serve yourself at breakfast and all day long. The Inn is walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops downtown and is a short walk to Ogunquit Beach and the Marginal Way. With plenty of parking and beautifully landscaped grounds, the Inn on Shore Road is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Ogunquit.

Look no further! The Inn on Shore Road provides all you need plus more. The Inn is quaint and beautifully decorated! You immediately feel a warm hug just walking through the front door. We were met by the Innkeeper Abby who is amazing and so accommadating! She shifted us into a beautful room which was an upgrade and was so appreciated! She clearly understands the hospitality industry as she has been the Innkeeper here for 8 years. Thank you Abby!! |The room was newly renovated, beautifully decorated and so cozy! The bed is comfortable and the furnishings are quality made and obviously hand picked for each room in the entire Inn. I love a great balcony and you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening while overlooking Shore Road which is the main road through Ogunquit. In the morning we ate our delicious breakfast on the balcony while enjoying the warm sun and people watching. |If your contemplating staying here, DON'T! You will not be disappointed. This was our first trip to Maine so we were flying by the seat of our pants when choosing a town and a place to stay. I googled a hundred places from York to Portland. I chose the Inn because of the excellent reviews and those 5 star reviews were spot on. The location is perfect - right in the middle of town - it's an easy walk to restaurants, to shops and to the beach. Abby and her staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. We stayed in Room 15 in the back annex and it was very clean and quite comfortable. There's a bedroom and a front sitting room with a full size pull-out sofa, a small refrigerator, microwave and small kitchen sink. It is on the second floor but I walk with a cane and I did not find it at all troublesome. We absolutely plan on returning.
