I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday for my boyfriend’s birthday. It’s still fairly new to the neighborhood, and I would recommend making a reservation—while not mandatory, it’s a good idea.

The interior is really nice and cozy, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The staff was very courteous, and I appreciated the manager walking around to check in with tables and ensure everyone was having a great experience.

Our server was attentive and on point with drinks and service, though it felt like he was rushing a bit at times. One small disappointment: I had hoped they would do something special for my boyfriend’s birthday, like a small cake or dessert, but instead, they offered a coupon for a free appetizer on our next visit. Something to keep in mind if you’re dining here for a special occasion.

The menu offers many selections, but I personally didn’t find it the most appealing. My son also struggled to find something he liked and ended up ordering chicken tenders and fries from the kids’ menu. While the food itself was good, I did feel the prices were slightly high for what was offered—for instance, $8 for a strawberry lemonade with no refills seemed steep.

Overall, it was a nice experience with great service and a cozy ambiance. I wouldn’t say it’s my first choice in the area, but it’s worth trying at least once, especially if you enjoy good service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Great place to go get good drinks and a meal! One of the managers, Jason, made sure we were taken care of from the start and our server John was on point! They have a wine tasting room and various seating options to suit your party! The Grandma's Chicken and Biscuits was light but filling and the Duck Duo was very well prepared with great flavors! For it being open for just around 3 months they are doing great! Would definitely recommend this place!

I'm updating my review, which I have never done before.... I went out with one of my friends and we sat in the bar section of the restaurant!!
I absolutely love the vibe and decor in the bar section 10 out of 10!!!

This time around, I had such a better experience, and the food choices were very delicious!! I order the steak bites with a side of fries..... I highly recommend this choice of food....

Our waitress was really great and friendly, which was awesome. I also think that we even had the manager check in to see if we need anything and if we are enjoying ourselves!!

Now that I had such a better experience the second time, I will probably go back!

Located in Waugh Chapel Towne Centre. Very easy to find. Plenty of parking. The décor on the inside was very nice (upscale) with a covered sitting area outside. The inside bar area had a couple of TVs (as did the outside). The initial bartender (I didn’t get his name) was very attentive and friendly, as was Jada, the other bartender. The draft beer list was limited. At the ‘Holler’ pizza ($9, Happy Hour price). Very good, lots of meat. The restaurant does offer a Happy Hour (Monday – Thursday, 3 – 6 pm, bar area only). Drafts are $7 and pizzas are ½ off (and there are other specials). They do offer a military discount of 10%. I will be back to try their other menu items.

We visited this restaurant in September. We ordered the cornbread, the house smoked wings, a farm burger with Mac and cheese as a side, and a bison burger with mushrooms as a side. The ambiance was nice, the service was good and the cornbread was good. The wings were awesome!!! The burgers lacked flavor. Like, no salt, no seasoning… nothing. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the mushrooms while the mac and cheese also lacked flavor. I may try this place again. Maybe they were having a bad day when we visited.

Our visit to The Farmhouse in Gambrills was nothing short of incredible! From start to finish, the experience was flawless.

We started with the bruschetta, which was absolutely amazing—every bite was a burst of flavor. For the main course, I had the rockfish, which had the perfect balance of spice from the jalapeño, while my wife had the spare ribs that were so tender they melted in your mouth. To top it all off, we indulged in a slice of rich, decadent chocolate cake that was the perfect ending to a phenomenal meal.

The service was equally outstanding. Our waitress, Jada, was beyond attentive—friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. She even took the time to engage with our 1-year-old, keeping him entertained and well-fed. Her trainee, Amy, was still learning but gave clear recommendations and provided excellent service throughout.

Finally, Maya, the manager, was truly the icing on the cake. She stopped by to check on us, had a wonderful conversation without being intrusive, and ensured everything about our meal was perfect.

The Farmhouse is definitely one of the better dining options Gambrills has to offer. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend checking it out!
