Spent a very nice weekend for our anniversary with Joe and Alex and enjoyed their hospitality and breakfast with lively conversations with the hosts. Location for walk about historic Annapolis and the Naval Academy can't be beat. Lodging accommodations very comfortable. Decor is impeccable. Only wish we could have had a fire each night we stayed instead of only Saturday.

Great stay at a real B&B with a home cooked breakfast! Well appointed room and Inn in the Best location in Annapolis! |Would recommend this one to any friends! |The Naval Academy Gate 1 is just around the corner and the old town Annapolis is outside the front door with restaurants within 5 minute walk!

Our hosts, Alex and Joe, were fabulous - friendly and full of tips for our stay. They also create beautifully served breakfasts - French toast, eggs of our choice, croissants, and of course, endless cups of coffee. The accommodations were as beautiful as seen online. And the location was perfect (i.e., for me, because it was quite near an extensive bookstore)!! It was also in walking distance from other shops and many restaurants. We wholeheartedly recommend the Annapolis Inn and hope to return. Thank you, Joe and Alex.

As a previous reviewer noted, Joe and Alex made us feel like valued guests in their private home. The house is amazing - museum quality decor but very comfortable! Have been to many top-notch B&B’s but Annapolis Inn beats them all, especially in terms of the warmth and charisma of our hosts! And the location is not only convenient but also quiet and peaceful.

Stayed here during a weekend getaway to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I couldn't have asked for a better experience from the time I made the reservations online until we drove away. Alex and Joe are consummate pros in the service industry. They made us feel welcome in their home and took care of every detail that I could imagine (and ones I didn't even think of). The house is gorgeous and you can feel the history in every room. And it's within walking distance of everything downtown Annapolis has to offer. Fantastic breakfasts, wonderful conversations, and lots of laughs. Cannot wait to come back. Grazie mille, Alex e Joe!

We stayed at The Annapolis Inn for a three-day long weekend in August and it was the most memorable element of the weekend! We arrived a few hours earlier than planned and the B&B owner was incredibly welcoming as we unloaded the car and went to park at a garage up the street (about 1/2 mile away). We stayed in the Rutland Suite which was two easy flights of stairs to the top floor of the Inn. The king bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space in the room to spread out, we could adjust the temperature for our comfort, and the en-suite bathroom was spacious and water had good pressure. Every morning there was a substantial, filling multi-course full breakfast, with the most enjoyable part of the meal being the discussions with the Inn owner! Don’t be in a rush to leave the table - he has some very memorable stories to share and the shops in Annapolis don’t open early anyway. The Inn was ideal located a few blocks from the Maryland Capitol building, the City Dock and the Naval Academy. It was a great experience and we have recommended The Annapolis Inn to everyone visiting the city.

Our high expectations of The Annapolis Inn were exceeded. The location is perfect for any Annapolis travel agenda. We were close to the harbor, the shops, the pubs, the Naval Academy, and church.

The rooms are so nice we wouldn’t have minded being rained in for a day. The entire house is both beautiful and
comfortable - but the comfort mostly comes from the genuine hospitality of Alex and Joe. They prepare a wonderful breakfast and share their home graciously. They are highly soulful and intelligent people who will have you laughing and/or in tears with their amazing stories, and their unique and beautiful connection with the Academy and the town. We feel blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at The Annapolis Inn, and I expect you will too - so look no further and book your stay.
