Recomiendo el hotel un lugar muy bonito un gran servició buena atención vale la pena hospedarse en este lugar mi hija más que feliz porque tiene una granja de animales esta es la segunda vez que nos ospedamos en este hotel. Volveremos el próximo año .🫶🙏🙌

We absolutely love The 1661 Inn. Firstly, the reservation process is seamless. It's so simple to pick your room & make a reservation. I had to change our dates and the in was very accommodating. Secondly-the rooms are fabulous. We have stayed here before in like to pick a different room each time this past weekend it was Edwards. I think this room has the most spectacular view with a wraparound deck, providing views to the east north end of the animal farm! The room also has a loft with an oversized Jacuzzi tub, that we enjoyed using ferrous stay. My daughter stayed in Ackers, which was wonderful. It was very spacious, with 2 king beds, a pull out sofa and a huge bathroom, with a great shower. The views from the porch were also fantastic. The Inn provides complementary continental breakfast and beverages. They also put out a light cheese spread and wine at 4 PM.|The host during our stay was Logan. She was exceptional at making the guests feel welcome. She was also very helpful in providing information on the island, from what was currently opened, to hiking trails and basic history of Block Island. Wilbur, who worked the front desk was very pleasant as well.

I don’t know why you’d stay anywhere else on the island. The location was gorgeous and perfect. Close enough to the action in town, and just a short walk away. The grounds were beautiful, and the views of the ocean amazing. The room was very nice. The breakfast and evening wine and nibbles were a perfect way to start you day, and your night. Finally the staff were top notch friendly, and attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Block.

We decided to make the late October trip to Block, and we're very glad we did. The 1661 Inn proved the perfect spot. Great location...walk to town. Short trip to the beaches. Our 1st floor room off the lobby with an ocean view was clean and very nicely appointed. We spent much time on the porch reading and enjoying the view. The Inn is quiet, particularly at this time of year. Front desk staff could not have been nicer or more attentive to our needs. They gave us great input on where to dine. At this time of year that can be tricky. We will be back!!

Recently visited the island and stayed at 1661 Inn. After our car was parked on the ferry for the way home I noticed I had left jackets/scarves in the closet at the Inn. With no time to walk back - we quickly called the front desk. Although I wouldn’t have minded an excuse to visit the island again 🙂 Logan saved the day by bringing our coats to the ferry before it took off. I really appreciate how she went above and beyond for us !! This has been my experience with her every time I stay at the Inn. Her patience and kindness really add to what makes this such a special place to visit !!

1661 Inn is such a wonderful place. So many options for accommodations. We stayed in the Ball room and others with us stayed in Dodge Cottage. Imagine if you woke up in the morning to a view of the Atlantic Ocean 500 feet from your porch. Fresh flowers in your room and a wonderful breakfast buffet with fresh produce from the garden on site. The staff was so friendly and always willing to help. Rita, the owner, making sure everyone feels comfortable and available for any questions or concerns. The convenience of the location to the waterfront activity area was so easy to walk anywhere. Also as a pleasant surprise a ride to the ferry landing at the end of the trip so we didn't have to drag suitcases. Thank you 1661 Inn.

We love staying here in the office season. Rooms in the the main are nice but a little quirky. Great staff and attentive service. Continental breakfast and wine & cheese are both complimentary. Walking distance from ferry.

Exceptional service, friendly staff, great breakfast and fabulous location. We stayed at one of the rooms with a shared bathroom with three other rooms, booked through Hotels.com, so it was quite reasonable (recommend spending the extra $ for your own bathroom). However, I will say the WiFi was spotty probably due to the distance from the router and the side tables and bureau should be replaced (they appeared to be a cheap particle board). There were also no complimentary waters in the room; an oversight? Lucky we brought our own! The best part about 1661 Inn was the farm! They had Camels, Tortoise, Guinea Hogs, Emu, Lemur, Kangaroo, chickens, rabbits and more, unbelievable!
