⚡️ THE GODS ARE NOT PLEASED ⚡️

High hopes, but ultimately, my first and last visit…Check this out…

My girlfriend and I dropped in to Taziki’s for dinner. She’d eaten there before (and said it was really good), but I hadn’t, so I was excited to try something new.

To start on a positive note, the young lady taking orders at the counter was very friendly and professional. That’s much appreciated!

However, the food was so incredibly bland, that I felt like I was eating for someone with a stomach virus, or one of the early 2010s fad “cleanse” diets. (Eg. Egg whites and balsamic vinaigrette dressing on plain lettuce.) Blech!

The bread around my “chicken wrap” was burned black in places (with nasty emulsified chicken inside—you know; the kind that’s held together with its own fat versus a proper chicken breast.) There were Ruffles potato chips as a side, which was a very interesting choice. There was rice, which was the most decent thing of all but isn’t saying much as the dash of lemon juice saved it from being inedible.

My GF’s “seasoned” potatoes were so dry and so bland, she had to add salt. While eating her gyro, she said “this is the worst food I’ve ever had.” The look on her face only added to the disappointment. We both were raised (like many people) to not “waste” food, so for us to leave the restaurant with food still remaining on the plate rarely happens. It did this evening though…

I’ve had better frozen microwave food. Not kidding or exaggerating!

Portion size = insulting. See photo. There were four of the chicken “things” I ordered, approximately the size of a pack of Bubblicious bubble gum—you know the size.

Two “meals” were around $26 (with no drink) YIKES! The place was empty when we were there, yet it still took 20 minutes to receive our food; meanwhile, the cooks were standing around idle (talking) while our order somehow was being made. I guess the food is microwaved in the back?

My GF bought our dinner that night, and insisted that we just let it go and never come back. If I’d paid for it, the food would’ve went right back to the counter, we’d have gotten a refund and left.

Regardless, we left hungry and had to go eat elsewhere after. A $26 lesson well-learned.

Before you eat here and drop nearly $15 per person on nearly-inedible food, please consider our “experience.” It just may save you a ruined evening.

Restaurants used to try and make things right, but I expect I’ll receive a pre-written “lip service” reply to this review at very best. This is both disappointing, yet expected.

“YASSAS!” 🇬🇷

I had the shrimp feast on a bed of rice and grilled veggies. The cook (Courtney) highly recommended it. I asked her to prepare it the way she would if she was preparing it for herself. It was delicious.

Go see Mike, Courtney, and Jana for a great tasting meal and a very relaxing environment.

This place is surprisingly good for a quasi-fast food place. You order at the counter and they bring it to you when it’s ready. I will go again if I see another one. The food was generous, and tasty.

We LOVE Tazikis. Our first visit was a couple of weeks ago. Since then, we have been 2 or 3 times a week! We love their salmon, salads, shrimp, and grilled chicken dinners. Their food is filling yet light and refreshing. These photos are from our most recent visit in December.

Fresh yet fast. Very tasty. Reasonable prices. Plenty of inside seating and 2 person tables outside. The atmosphere is bright with high ceilings. Very chic.

We got the Dinner For Four package. There are only three of us but one is a teenage boy. He is like an extra person. We called before they opened and they had it ready when we got there shortly after opening time. The phone staff was very courteous and friendly. They did have to put me on hold to ask a question. It is a new location so they may not have been familiar with everything but it all went smoothly. The food was great. We got the roast lamb. The salad looked beautiful. There was more than enough of it. The quantity of meat was great and it was delicious. They could have thrown in a little more potatoes.
Update. Terribly disappointed with the amount of food. It said 12 pieces of pita. I didn't know that they would be the size of a quarter. Does pita bread cost so much that $60 can only by a smidgen?

Taziki's catered a wonderful buffet dinner for 150 guests at our wedding this past July. I worked with Jennifer to set up the order and was impressed with her professionalism. Their menu has a lot of options and Jennifer helped me to select the right quantities. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. I would definitely recommend Taziki's if you are looking for affordable wedding catering!

Being a writer, I refused to go here for years because they spelled Tzatziki wrong. My thought process was, if they can't spell
Tzatziki, then how are they going to fix Greek food correctly?
However, I gave in and couldn't have been more wrong...this place is off the chain!!!
We got the gyros and two sides and we were full!!! It was absolutely phenomenal!!! The gyros are stuffed full and the sides were the perfect amount!!!
The service was absolutely incredible!!! Everyone was incredibly nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. Plus I like the fact you can see them making the food.
The atmosphere of the place is brilliantly laid out. The seating is not right on type of each other and outdoor seating is available.
So you may be saying to yourself, "Why only four stars instead of five?" As I said before, they don't spell Tzatziki correctly AND they have "Family owned and operated" on their door. If you're a chain with damn near a hundred locations in 20 plus states, your a corporation not some mom and pop restaurant. But these are my pet peeves and have nothing to do with the food, service or atmosphere, which all are incredible at this location!!!
I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
