I have been calling for a week nonstop, 5 times a day, and it keeps ringing. No one will answer the phone to help me.

Good VA clinic, but no one ever answers the phone. I get calls from them to make an appointment but no answer. It’ll literally ring for 10 minutes straight, and eventually stop ringing. Don’t call me and leave a voicemail saying to call back when no one answers the phone. I’ve tried all extensions and it doesn’t matter. They still won’t answer. GET IT TOGETHER

Edit: I’ve emailed my PCM, the patient advocates, and I called a left a voicemail to the patient advocates about this issue. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR coming from a VA Clinic. I expect a follow up soon. Will update again.

Edit 2: Patient advocate called me back and said that there are issues with the phones lines. They are “looking into it and it’s being resolved”.

So, after trying to call many, many times to get an appointment, I finally went in to do it. I got an appointment later than I wanted so I asked if they had a cancellation list. She said no, but you can always call and see if there is an earlier opening. Baahaha. Now I have to cancel said appointment but apparently I have to go in to do that too because no one is answering! Way to help out our vets ladies! BTW, there was no one in line when I went in and I didn't hear any phones ringing, I wonder if they turned off the ringers .

My husband has been going here several years and the last time he was here was (April 2024), it was terrible. Dr.Oquendo kept on continually insisting my husband had a condition he didn't have and taking medication he never took, only to realize he was reading us results from another patients file. And somehow he missed important results on his blood work.

He also made unacceptable comments about my husband/veterans getting increases in their disability claims, stating "I'm not accusing you of lying but it's suspicious how many veterans are getting increases."

It's honestly sad that this is the kind of healthcare veterans are getting. Do better.

Seriously I have never had a problem here. I believe that no one goes to work mad and if they do it's on me to make a difference. Some of their work can be monotonous but I have never been disrespected nor have I seen it while visiting there. Trust me I'm very vocal and will have none of it.

This place is going down the crapper. No one ever answers the phone. Ever. Yesterday, I witnessed a nurse being so snobby and rude to another veteran. I couldn’t believe my eyes. The primary care providers don’t really care about you, but they will tell you they do. Forget getting any real health care. First thing they want to tell you is to go to an urgent care if you have an issue. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONES. The psychologist experience I’ve had, in my opinion, was worthless. You can tell them multiple times your issues and go look at your report and it says conflicting statements. No one listens here. Forget trying to make an appointment unless you actually drive up there and talk to someone in person. Then beware of who you end up taking to. There is one very sweet nurse up there and one very respectful front desk gentleman. I appreciate my doctors, but this is getting ridiculous.
