It's a Polynesian store where all the Samoans, Tongans, Micronesians, etc.. Buy their favorite food from. They also sell cooked food like turkey tail, taro, palusami, lamb flaps, chop suey, fried eggplant with pilikaki, and other variety of food. Also corned beef. Good place to shop if you're looking for those comfort food that you don't see in Walmart, etc..

If there was a zero star that’s what they would’ve got. These guys are a rip off Asian owned company. They needed Ulu and told my husband to come and they’ll pay him for the Ulu. They never even mentioned how much they’d give him they just told him come and once you pick the Ulu you have to cook before it gets bad. He came all the way from Kahaluu with a lot of Ulu. They only offered him only $1 each Ulu mind you they sell it to customers by weight $10 a lb!!! They ain’t really working hard to prepare Ulu only steam and add coconut milk. Compared to us who grows, waters and nurture the Ulu from seed and it takes years! Plus they sell the same food from morning all the way to closing. Same food they don’t even check if the food is good. Don’t eat food that will make you sick! Not worth your money and they’re bad business I wouldn’t buy food from here even if I was starving. I feel bad for their workers they’re probably getting cheap pay for bussing their behinds. Shame on this business! That’s probably why they changed their store name. Literally because they’re bad business. I can’t believe we use to buy food from this place knowing they’re a rip off. I’d rather make it myself!!! And if they’re wondering what we did to the ulu. We gave some to our Aunties and the rest went to the church! Because we’d rather offer it to the church then be ripped off by Talofa market! Trust and believe I will make it known to everyone about them. It’s not about the money it’s they fact that they wasted our time. They could’ve told us the price before hand but that was their intention!!! There’s also a lot of homeless near them. The place smells like piss.

Love love love this place when it comes to fresh cooked local food. Always my first stop from airport when I visit Honolulu. They've got octopus with 🥥, sashimi both with soy sauce & 🥥, cooked fish, turkey tail, goat meat, ube purple yam, bananas, taro, in various cooking styles, island pastries and so much more. It's kinda expensive but when it comes to this kind of goodies I'll splurge. Try it our!

For a small store they really have a lot of handy stuff . I love stopping by when I'm in the area . They have low prices on every day snacks and juices. Some local type of accessories like flowers and such. Handy things you might not know you need until late and you can easily get it for a cheap price. I love that they also make local Polynesian food from a few different cultures. I still seriously think to sometimes take the far trip from my house to the store just for a pan of Pagi Popo. New name , same great store.
