Stones Throw offers a dining experience that is hard to beat, thanks to its stunning views of the ocean. The atmosphere is both relaxing and scenic, making it perfect for a sunset dinner or a laid-back lunch by the water. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall pleasant experience.

A standout feature is their cocktail selection, with my personal favorite being the Mercury in Retrograde. It's a drink that’s as unique as its name—perfectly balanced, refreshing, and a must-try.

If you're looking for a place with great food, drinks, and a spectacular view, Stones Throw is an excellent choice.

Came for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! Probably the best dinner we had while visiting York. I’ve been coming since I was a kid but now appreciate this spot as an adult. The chicken sandwich was a top 5 fried chicken sandwich I’ve had, absolutely stacked high with chicken, bacon, and cheese. The lobster roll was tasty, only 4oz, but certainly cooked to perfection. Beautiful sea side views of the ocean.

This place is #1 on our list for trips to Maine. We actually drove 4 hours because of how fabulous Stones Throw is. The food is sooo good. We’ve had several meals here and made a second trip just weeks apart. We booked the Nevada and never left the block. The best gluten free bread my sweetheart has ever had. Lobster rolls called us back! You do not leave here hungry! The portions are too much! And the bill….i checked to see if they forgot to charge something that we ordered. It didn’t seem like enough.

We have stayed at Stones Throw before and will again! The rooms are adorable, we had ocean facing rooms again and they are in such a great location. The food is amazing, and beautifully plated. The onsite bar has a great vibe, love the music playlist and the cocktails are really fantastic. The staff is really the nicest, most polite group of people. Shout out to 'Jasmine' who was calling my phone to help me out with my sons room as he was running late and past checkin. The morning cleanup crew was so sweet as we were apologizing for walking across what they were cleaning with our sandy feet - so sorry again!!! We even tried Lulu's next door at the Nevada (new hotel) and the food/vibe was really fun! I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant, our kids were raving about the location and the hotel also 🙂 thank you!! Great marketing, design, communication, chef and bartenders!!!

The restaurant was the biggest surprise of our York, ME vacation...I don't usually get enthusiastic about salads, but... The Dilly? Amazing...I had it twice. Other stand-outs were the Bang Bang Broccoli, and the Sheet Pan Share. So nice to find a restaurant that creates vegetarian dishes with equal thoughtfulness.
