I lived here for almost 2 years. 1 b 1b and I enjoyed it very thoroughly! Maintenance is awesome and always did what they needed to do! Big shout out to them! They made moving in and out easy! The apartments themselves are nice and full of storage and I loved my balcony and walk in closets with the open concept!

If you rent here I recommend getting an apartment AWAY from the main roads due to noise. The grass is cut regularly. ( I never used the gym, so I cannot speak on that). The pool is on the smaller side but I loved going when I did.

My biggest complaints:
- hard to reach over the phone
- you pay $35 for valet trash, but usually every week there is a day where it doesn’t get picked up.
- the dumpster is always a mess and they seem to never fine anyone who dumps when they aren’t supposed to
- Depending on the location of your apartment the traffic is SO loud!!!

My friend recently moved into this terrible place, and the apartment is filthy. I got bitten by fleas from the carpet, which has never been cleaned since the previous tenant. The walls have never been repainted or repaired, and the appliances are not functioning. The whole place was covered in dust, and there's mildew on the balcony. I can't believe how poorly this place is managed. It's disgusting!

The apartment staff are snobs and for no justifiable reason. When my mother (who was renting here) passed away, Gio and Lacey met with me to help me clear out her place. They were utterly callous and snotty, no empathy at all that family deaths are difficult and traumatising and confusing.

They act this way because the leasing office is "high-end sexy" as you walk in, when in full reality, the apartment for which you'll be paying very high rent, is anything but. My mother used to complain all the time that the walls are paper thin, the security gate works as it should only half the time, and the staff took MONTHS just to fix a toilet in her apartment. They didn't care because her unit had two bathrooms, so they figured she and my dad will use both. Well you can't expect this of elderly people who need their own methods and routine.

Regardless, if you're paying good $$$ for a fully functioning apartment in its entirety, then Gio and Lacey and doubtless the other self-important staff need to get on it with simple maintenance requests.

It's a bunch of snot-faced Millennials utterly detached from reality and adulthood outside, coupled with that brand new bank within walking distance across the way that refused to tell me their investments as common knowledge for me to feel confident that my money is safe with them. I learned this in grad school, for crying out loud, and they still wouldn't divulge basic information that all banks do.

So now you know the frauds you have moving in to ruin a really good town. Who are they partnering with locally to do this?

Current photos of the true state of this “luxury” apartment complex. Just wanted to share for any potential tenants looking for a nice place to live.

Apartment complex is truly a dump. Not to mention staff is very unprofessional. Take a Quick Look to their response to the review alone. You can expect a lot off sassy text messages like that during your time here. I guarantee that during your tour they will not walk you close up on the filthy pool. I’ve never seen it clean in the past 2 years I’ve even went on the day they claimed to “clean” it & what a joke. Invited friends over and we ended up getting a resort pass to a pool downtown sadly I’ve had to do that A LOT while living here.(yea it’s that bad) I don’t believe they hire an actual pool company to clean they & are using the maintenance man whom I doubt is certified & just uses the net to clean the surface. I mean see for yourself take a walk through any day the gate to the pool is broken lol & has been dangling for nearly a year and our parking lot is filled with many visitors & unsupervised kids come over to use it every weekend. Your noise complaints will be completely ignored and quiet hours are a joke and not enforced because if you reach out to leasing you will be hit with the same sass that was used to reply to the review below. Oh & you wouldn’t dare believe we have a courtesy officer because I absolutely never saw a luxury apartment complex with so many cars broken into the least he could do for his huge rent discount is ride through the community some nights flashing lights to detour criminals. You can find cheaper & nicer apartments on River st right now that is so insane & sad for the amount residents pay out here. I had to fight & call corporate just because lazy leasing refused to show me my apartment before signing a lease claimed it was standard but immediately got the keys once I began calling corporate. lol I’m just telling you don’t move here expecting a nice community it’s a piece of junk and I can’t wait to get out of this lease.

Lived there for 12 months DEC 2020-DEC 2021. The experience was super nice until you sign the lease and then goes down hill from there. Most people would say you get what you pay for but, with Sterling Creek you will surely get less. Security gate was broken probably 8 of the 12 months I lived here. There is a $30 fee for a trash service that doesn’t get picked up consistently and is not refunded when it doesn’t get done (I probably had it picked up three times, past that I just did it myself cause it wasn’t worth getting accused of leaving your trash out and catching a fee). Cheap light bulbs that go out constantly (literally three within the first month of moving in) and it’s cheaper to just buy and replace yourself than pay them to replace them. The Utility bills don’t match the square footage of the apartment nor the occupancy ( I lived alone in a one bedroom and paid the same as a three bedroom with 4 occupants). One of the loudest HVAC units I’ve ever heard. It would literally wake you up at 2am when it turned on and never once had anyone come to change the filter which should be done monthly at least. Not to mention the HVAC unit for your apartment is located in a closet that is locked so you cant change the filter yourself even if you wanted to. The balcony was scheduled to be power washed at least once while I was there which was exciting because the collection of hornets nests was something out of a sci-fi movie, but much like the trash service it never happened. Had a crack in the ceiling in the bathroom from day one that would be super wet anytime you took a shower and was never fixed. People moving out would constantly throw furniture and tons of trash in front of the garbage compactor to a point where you couldn’t take your one bag of trash (that you where transporting cause trash pickup didn’t happen again) and actually get it in the dumpster. All of that topped off by one of the worst move out experiences I’ve ever had. First nobody showed up for the pre-move out inspection even though I had waited hours past the scheduled time. I even called the front office while waiting and was assured that someone was coming but they didn’t so had no idea what else I could do to avoid extra fees. I’ve never been charged for anything when Ive moved out cause Ive kept my places clean (photo attached). I vacuumed and wiped everything down except for the things I paid them to clean in their $280 express move out program. Caught a $50 charge for dust under the toilet (photo attached) which was dramatically called “excessive filth build up” but could’ve been wiped up by a three year old with a wet napkin but somehow wasn’t included in the almost $300 dollar payment I gave them. I was constantly cleaning that dust due to it coming out of the vent fan in the bathroom every time it was turned on (most likely because during construction some genius decided to tie it into the dryer vent next door). Then an additional $40 carpet treatment (professional carpet cleaning is included in the express move out fee) for essentially the indentations left by my couch and entertainment centers (photos attached). And then a $73 final utility bill (confusing cause you pay for electric yourself not through the office and water and sewer had already been billed). But yeah other than that super dope experience. Would not recommend even to that wiener Chris at work cause I wouldn’t wish this dumpster fire on anyone.

DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO RECEIVE A DIRTY APARTMENT ON YOU MOVE IN DAY AND THEN YOU HAVE TO DELAY THE MOVE FOR 2 weeks.

When we moved there the apartment WAS DIRTY and the carpet was FULL OF THE PREVIOUS PETS FUR and i had a terrible allergic reaction, after several “attempts” of them “cleaning” it was still dirty, so we decided to hire a cleaning company to deep clean the carpet. When we left 5 months later and cleaned the whole apartment and left them with a clean space including the carpet. Fast forward i get a notification from credit karma that i had a pending balance because after 1 email of me inquiring about the bill they decided to send it to collections, never once got an email back about the inicial one.

Car wash has been broken for some time now.

Vacuum hose broken at car wash.
(You pay for amenities monthly but nothing seems to work)

Gym is dirty.
(Floor is not cleaned, equipment doesn’t get cleaned after using, wipes don’t get refilled unless you ask)
One machine has been broken for over a month now.

Dog park.. More like leave your dogs waste in the park.

People walk around with pets and 85% don’t clean up after themselves (disgusting!!)

This is why you can’t have nice things…
They get ruined from people who have no class or respect…

Trash bags thrown into the woods in the back

I’m afraid to see how the pool will be once the weather gets warmer…

Sometimes the garbage gets picked up sometimes it doesn’t

Maintenance is very quick to respond to any problems you have or repairs (that’s a plus)

Apartment is nice
First floor you hear everything they do upstairs
(Did they install a bowling alley upstairs?)
I don’t mind during the day or in the evening but if it happens past 10pm no respect…

Parking is ok if you have a garage

Some don’t follow the rules when it comes to throwing out boxes or trash which will probably raise the rates even more…

I am very disappointed for the money we pay here
