We have stayed here before, and every time, the staff have gone out of their way to make us feel welcome. Reservation, check in, and interacting with the store/ marina was all easy. The Hotel rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. It met all our expectations for a fishing trip. If you’re expecting the Hilton, this is not for you, but if you want to escape and get back to the old Florida feel and fish, this will be for you. Enjoy and good fishing!!

The River Inn provided housing during Hurricane Debby. The room was clean and spacious, the bed and pillows super comfortable, and the shower was awesome. All amenties (soap, shampoo, lotion, conditioner) were provided. The coffee station was well stocked. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was welcomed and all my needs were met. Their grill at the Marina cooked up a great burger and fries. The views were amazing!

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful; we loved our stay and will be returning. Thank you very much for being so kind. Marina management was excellent! Live shrimp prices were very reasonable (50x for $15). Marina grill served up some very well received breakfast food. Room was immaculate, smelled clean, beds were above average for motels. Pool area was very clean. Can catch redfish off the dock if you are interested 🙂 Outside seating at the marina to eat breakfast or have a drink or 3. ||Parking lot lighting was a little dark in the boat trailer area, but it was also raining so visibility was low anyways. Only complaint 🙂

Great family owned inn and marina! Wife, dog, and I stayed there 3 nights to go scalloping. Super friendly folks. Priced right. Great setup if towing a boat. We rented a boat slip and had a blast. Will be going back next year.

This was our first time in Steinhatchee and the River Inn. Check in was easy, the motel was taken care of and clean. Our email questions were taken care of quickly. We always try to extend our check out by an hour, our request this time was granted. The only problem we had was the hot water. It took a very longtime for the water to get warm and I mean only warm, good thing we did not need to shower. We talked to the manager about the water situation. Overall this is a nice motel, the town is very small with few restaurants/bars and a small market, people are nice in the town. If you are looking to go fishing this would be the place, lots of rentals available.

Nice enough place to stay. Unfortunately, our credit card numbers were stolen by someone and thousands of purchases were made fraudulently. Wouldn’t trust them again.

For $166 the place was clean but dated. I accidentally ended up going home and finding the remote in my luggage. I looked at my cc and they had already charged my cc $107.00 Without even speaking with me. I called them and explained and said I would ship it back right away. People make mistakes. The problem is she had no interest in being reasonable. She said if I send it back she would refund 50% of the $107. I have no use for a Direct tv remote. She said I caused chaos and had to go several towns away to get a new one and $107 was a deal. Has anyone ever heard of a hotel that did not have a backup remote? What if a guest checked in and the remote didn’t work? They do not have a single backup? Great trip to Steinhatchee except a front desk clerk with attitude. By the way she said she was new when we asked simple questions at check in. There are better options for the price. I would stay away.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The 2 bedroom was a perfect fit for our family. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed! We will be back!
