We wanted to see the 'widest waterfall' in Florida...we went during the weekday around lunch time.no one was there .they had a few parking spots....there were also 5 or 6 picnic tables that was right on the shoreline and was large enough that it could be private...the surrounding park was beautiful ( we went in November, but i bet in the spring when all the trees are green and full it would be amazing). The waterfall itself was disappointing...

Beautiful, nice place to Fly Fish. Shaded picnic areas, some hiking trails, a kayak launch. Port o let. Paved Gravel parking area. Very neat clean well maintained park. There on a weekday and we were the only people there, quiet peaceful and relaxing. Dirt road from hwy 51 but not bad at all. Some steps leading down to the waters edge at Steinhatchee River. Definitely be going back, would recommend this if you're in the area.

You can drive very close to the falls and park. There is a boat ramp and trails along the Steinhatchee River.

Beautiful old Florida area. There is plenty of history to learn about here. We went in February when the water was high, so no falls to see this time, but the rapids on the river were pretty to watch. There are plenty of hiking trails to take. Family friendly.

Beautiful place to visit! Very few people everytime I visit so crowd is never an issue. Picnic tables and trails to enjoy with the family and if you like hiking. There is a kayak and canoe launch. Easily accessible. Great steps leading down for views and picture taking. Dirt road leading in but was an easy drive.

Fast access via good dirt road. Gates for car closes around 6pm but you can park in front of it, a few steps to the falls, not visible today due to higher water and many many bugs laughing about our repellent. Anyhow worth a stop. You are in the middle of nowhere
