This museum is in a perfect (day-out) location (park & mini beach). I visited the museum which was absolutely educational & had great artifacts. A nice walk thru w/interesting history of that local area. The price is super reasonable & worth it!

I totally recommend getting the combined pass for the aquarium and the history center. Staff are very helpful and considerate at both sites! I called in advance since we were a group and they were able to fit us in and even delayed the feeding times to make sure we were there for it while we received the educational tour, then were ready for us at the history center and we even got to see the historic home on site from the inside as well. Great places to visit!

Really had a nice time learning about all the massive changes in the area, the influences that shaped the area, and some behind the scenes of well-known that once walked this area. Thank you for a great setup and display areas, so glad with the advancement of technology to be reminded of Hand washing, telephone on the wall days, we got so much precious time back.

My advice: Get the combined ticket for both the aquarium and history museum. Both were fun experiences. The aquarium has several exhibits featuring local fish and plant species, (some I hadn't heard of before!). Took about 30 minutes to get through it. The museum was really interesting, and had a lot of information about the local native American tribes, historic monuments, and other interesting tidbits. They even have a house that was donated to the museum with tons of vintage charm. Had a great time here. I also suggest stopping by the Hershey's Ice Cream shop nextdoor!

Very impressive, they did a great job with historical events and artifacts, as well as documented chronologically by founding families. Looks small from the outside but quite large. Learned a lot about fort Pierce
