Sprague’s Lobster is the place to eat fresh lobsters & clams for a dinner special, fresh clam chowder of the day. They have fresh crab rolls and lobster rolls. They carry varieties style of hotdogs and fries for the kids . There’s plenty of seats where customers can sit and enjoy their meal and parking . Before you leave Sprague’s you can grab ice cream before you go to your next destination. You don’t have to wait long for your food, unlike Red Eats across the street where the wait is over 1hr & 1/2 ; the line goes around the corner, not even sure if there’s a dining area for customers.

Glad we chose to come here!

This meal was worth the 30 minute wait during lunch.

Fresh Maine Lobster Roll was delicious, just what you’d expect at any restaurant in the area. It was stacked with meat too.

The clam chowder was also amazing!

Tons of great seating over the water.

Same lobster, shorter wait, great service - You gotta eat here!

5 stars across the board! Such friendly people, the BEST Lobster & crab rolls, delicious fresh milkshakes, amazing fish and chips, great coleslaw, yummy fries, and the best clam chowder I’ve tasted. Great boardwalk to enjoy while you eat. Parking is easy. ATM on site to get cash for paying. Gorgeous views of the water!

Waited well over an hour at the place across the street that had a Tik-Tok video go viral for their huge lobster rolls. Once we rounded the corner and noticed we weren’t even half way there, we figured, what the heck… we’re in Maine, lobster rolls are going to be fresh and delicious across the street as well. So glad we made the move. Had our food and a milkshake for dessert, finished before we would have even been served across the street.
This lobster roll was huge, fresh, and oh so delicious! Loaded up with at least 6 claws and 3 whole tails, by my count… and a side of drawn butter to slather over top. Don’t bother waiting in the line across the street… just go to Sprague’s, you will not leave disappointed.
By the way… the milkshake, oh boy, so smooth and creamy!!!

Wonderful customer service! It was sprinkling out and a young lady came out and dried off a table and the bench for us. The food was ready quickly and absolutely amazing! My lobster roll was served plain with a side of melted butter so that I could add as much as I wanted. Perfect! The best lobster roll I've ever had! The French fries and fried green beans were very good too!

Beautiful spot to eat, lobster roll was delicious but the chowder was the best! Line wasn't too bad, went pretty quick. Watching the people across the street at the other popular tourist trap eatery, they didn't move by the time we waited in line and received our food! Glad we made this choice.

Amazing steamed lobster rolls! And right on the water. Don't be fooled by Red's across the street, which for some reason is more famous. Sprague's is just as yummy and you can skip the LONG line!

The lobster roll and clam chowder were delicious. I highly recommend the clam chowder - it was flavorful, fresh, and only $8. This was my first ever lobster roll so I’m not sure how other places would compare, but I throughly enjoyed it. Lots of lobster, tasty melted butter, and a nice crispy roll.
