Ordered Smokehouse Brisket & Half Rack Smoked ribs... I don't need to comment the picture says a thousand words. Food is usually awesome and the service was good. However you should remove smoked or smokehouse from the menu

I put 2 stars because my son & husband had a tasty meal in our family group of 10. Unfortunately, I did not get my food until my party was through eating - I was told the kitchen dropped the ball. I took 2 bites of the Steak Bites and Lemon Shrimp when I finally got it. They apparently didn't pay attention and put so much lemon juice in it that the flavor was only strong lemon. I pulled out enough lemon wedges to make half of a large lemon. I've had this dish before and it was good then. Since everyone else was ready to go, I boxed it up pipping hot and took it home, but it was still not worth it. Very disappointed. Our part of the ticket was $108. I hate wasting my hard earned dollars.

My birthday dinner was amazing. Our server was the BEST. Caleb provided us with the best services. He served 30 people without any complaints. The food was delicious and brought out in a timely manner. Remind you this was Valentine Day Week 2025. There was several birthday celebrations going on at the same time but the Service was TOP NOTCH. Thanks Caleb for everything !!!!

I was pleased with the experience I had here. The staff was pleasant and I didn't have any issues with anything or anyone. The staff was attentive and the wait time was half of what they quoted. I don't ask for much when I go to a restaurant, mostly just that the food is hot when brought out. That it was and it was tasty as well. We had the boudin egg rolls, seafood pasta, fried catfish and shrimp, onion rings, seasoned potatoes, cinnamon apples, and a kids meal. Prices are reasonable for the food and atmosphere provided. We spent around $80 including the tip. All of it was great and I will probably go back again.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere! I ordered the boudin egg rolls, the seafood gumbo, and the seafood pasta. Everything was delicious. I would say if you are from Louisiana don't expect auntie gumbo, it's definitely restaurant gumbo. More like gravy and rice but it's alright. I definitely want to try the rest of the menu!

My family has been several times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but the service by Von was the best. She had the most energetic demeanor and was smiling and truly looked happy to be at work. She made recommendations and made our 1st night there so pleasant, we asked for her again when we went back. Our favorites have been Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, Chicken Fried Steak and my daughter loved the steak bites on the kids menu, but everything has been pretty good. This is a new favorite place for us.

My first time here was an amazing experience. The food was good and the restaurant was really clean. As server myself, I have to highlight my server Caleb. Caleb was attentive, very professional, and anticipated every need that I had. His timing in pacing our courses of the meal was spot on. Me and my daughter will definitely be back and we’re requesting Caleb every time!

We were working in the area and stumbled across South Plains. Good thing we did! The atmosphere was really cool. Reminded me of a really nice cabin in Colorado. No wait time to be seated. We ordered a few drinks and had a hard time deciding what we wanted to get. Everything sounded so good. We went with the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. We were expecting some small button mushrooms but when they came out, WOW! They were massive. Stuffed with boudin and cream cheese. Also got the Yardbird fries. Entree was the ribeye with veggies and onion rings. Everything we ordered was amazing and well seasoned. For dessert, we got the brownie with ice cream. Too bad we live over 200 miles away or I would visit here more often. I definitely recommend you stopping by and give this place a try. You won't regret it!
