SOKY Fair

It is a shame a progressive city like BG does not have good adult softball leagues bringing in the factories and civic organizations to create a more active and unified community! Sports is not just for the kids but it grows community pride and parks and rec should be for adults too!

This is seriously one of if not my favorite fair in the Nashville area. (Yes, worth the hour drive.) Really gives you that old school home town fair feeling. Live events every night, plenty of rides included with admission, and alcohol on premises 🍻. Don’t miss it when the fairs in town!

Very funny family events they put on a great show cars all sizes lawnmower different food vendors with different types of food and they do have beer when they have these Derby's

Only happens once a year. Lots of fun rides and games. Great family fun!!

The fair was very fun and a pleasant experience. We did have a lot of trouble walking around with the amount of cords they had tho. We also wanted to take our 1 year old on the carousel but they would only allow 1 parent on per child? Very bizarre and never had this rule anywhere else. So my husband had to sit out. The demolition derby was very cool!

the rides were great, but the lines were way to compact, and could barely get from point a to point b without bumping into one another or stepping on cords to the rides. the food also didnt seem fresh my chips were very stale, and the lady at the lemonade stand has been there each year and has such bad customer service skills and doesnt seem like she wants to he there at all. she shewed away a customer just for saying they wanted no ice in there lemonade. she got very worked up just explaining that it would be to sweet while the girls were being very nice. the rest of the employees were great but she just had such a bad attitude it made me uncomfortable waiting for my drink or even asking for a refill.

It's how Walmart used to be from midnight to 3am. Perfect for people watching. The smell of friend onions permeate the air and you are eventually doused with someone's beer or dipspit.

Always a great time. The entertainment is fun, the food hits the spot when craving fair cuisine, and the beverages are cold and definitely hit the spot on a hot summer night. Would definitely recommend the fair and the variety of different types of derby's they have. It's a fun time.
