It is a small butcher shop with two outdoor benches. The Philly Steak is really good! Breakfast Sandwich with sausage is also pretty good. Friendly service.

Truly great lamb and philly! I am excited to go back for more sandwiches and the cases meat. The staff was friendly and efficient. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

This review is for the stall at Solaire Social, been there many times the last few months and it's been an awesome experience each time.

Their cheesesteak is hands down the best in the DMV, not even close. The prime rib quality is otherworldly, and their house-made cheese whiz is the perfect molten complement to stand up to the robust flavor of the meat. Throw in their perfectly caramelized onions and generous mayo and you have the epic cheese steak that it is. They will even throw on some jalapenos upon request.

Burgers are quite good too, as well as their hot dog. All about the meat quality here, it shines through to make any otherwise ordinary dish an extraordinary version of it.

Oh, and don't sleep on the tots, they do them perfectly crispy!

The Philly with provolone cheese was delicious and the wings (lemon pepper and buffalo) were on point too! Get there early because the line gets LONG!

Great butcher shop and deli in our great neighborhood of Takoma Park. I’d say it’s a little overpriced, but definitely worth trying! Sandwiches are big enough to split two ways. Check them out!

I wanted to like soko. The first issue I had was how much more expensive and lower quality it was than the owners other restaurants. The next issue I had was I got a ribeye there for well over $20 a lb, I asked for the most marbled piece and when I got home and checked it, it had little to no marbling and was mid quality. I wish I would have just gone to Whole Foods. The next issue was ordering a burger and it being raw. There’s no excuse for that. The last issue is they charge 2.50 for Kirkland water, that’s literally 10x what it costs to buy 1 let alone a case which the markup is even higher. I feel like the quality needs to greatly improve or the cost needs to drop. I unfortunately won’t come back.

Soko has the best Steak and cheese in Maryland. It’s hard to find a quality sandwich in this area.

The Philly was juicy, had lots of cheese and the right amount of onions.

I ordered the Nashville and wasn’t a huge fan for my taste buds. The chicken was cooked well, juicy and had great flavors. However, I felt like it was a dry sandwich, probably the French roll, it’s big and crunchy. I love spicy food but my brother who doesn’t, noticed that the sandwich was spicy. Just FYI to anyone who orders this sandwich. I think the smoke aioli has the spicy kick to it so if you don’t like spicy, just say no smoked aioli.

I order the tallow fries and I loved them! They were so delicious. Reminded me of beach fries but thinner. Very refined.

This is a butcher shop, so please be mindful of that. It’s not a restaurant. Great food, customer service could improve.

Great local butcher shop. Popular place for meats and sandwiches. They also have condiments and a small selection of specialty foods like pickled vegetables. Meat stocks and frozen meats are also available. Also a small selection of dog treats. It's a small space and popular, but they move the line quickly.
