Fantastic family oriented skills resort with epic indoor water park. Kiddo loves snowboarding during the day and hitting the water park in afternoon. Terrain is pretty good for beginners but slopes are fairly narrow for those big sweeping turns. Top of mountain food 'Moguls' has a wide variety to choose from.

We do not ski, but wanted to ride the gondola up the mountain and we were not disappointed! The gondola ride itself was quite long, but very worth it. The lodge was a bit dated, but had a mountainous charm to it. Food and drinks were warm and served quickly. The sights were beautiful with kind people working and skiing. I would love to come back here and actually learn to ski or board.

We stayed at Silver Mountain Resort and decided to do the ride and dine and take the gondola up the mountain. The ride is long about 25 minutes. Beautiful scenery! At the top we had a BBQ dinner and were able to choose from Salmon, BBQ Ribs and Teriyaki chicken, it came with many different side dishes. There was a full service bar for extra money and Live music. Tables are set up and you can walk around , ride a open chair lift to see more of the mountain or just sit in the beautiful mountain air, scenery listening to music and having a cocktail or beer or non alcoholic beverage. There were a few kids there and they had a big bounce house set up for them. All in all it was definitely worth the experience.

Skiied Thursday, April 4, had a good time! There was a few inches of powder the previous night and snow was quality. Lines were pretty much nonexistent.
I will say that a decent bit of the resort was closed, mostly the advanced stuff like blacks and almost all the double blacks, probably due to lack of snow but I’m not sure. Additionally, Chair 5 and its slopes were closed. There was enough snow, I could see it from the gondola, but I don’t know if it was closed due to lack of labor to operate Chair 5.
For anyone going to ski the first time, almost all of the blues are wide but steeper than typical blues. Wide turns for less advanced skiers necessary.
Overall, I was able to get a lift ticket and rentals at the window for about $100, which is a good deal compared to other resorts.
Lastly, I wanted to shout out a few employees. Olivia helped work Chair 1 and she was very outgoing and friendly. And Kevin in the rental area was kind and helpful for me getting my skis and boots on.

This is my favorite snow resort and ski mountain in the region! The snow is great, the lines are short, the gondola is easy and you can hear up on the ride, then check your bags at the lodge.

The lodge has decent food and a full bar with a cafeteria on the main level, bar and food upstairs, and a separate 21+ bar upstairs as well. Live music evenings are the best!

Lessons here are great and there is a wide variety of all levels of runs to improve on.
