Everything was delicious here on my visit. The Chicken Chesapeake is a high recommendation, the calamari was tender and tasty, and the after-meal espresso was boldly refreshing. The staff were very welcoming and happy to have us dining with them.

This place has always been a local favorite of mine, I grew up coming here with my family often as a kid. I hadn’t been in a while and my friends and I remembered the delicious bread and oil they serve. We decided to come for lunch one day last week and this place is even better than I remember! The bread was warm and pairs deliciously with the oil. Everything we had tasted great. Portions were large so we had leftovers. Prices were great. Our server was quick and kind. We definitely want to start coming more often again!

Well today decided to stop at this little Italian restaurant I kept seeing as I drive by in my new community I just moved into.Sapore Di Mare has a quiet atmosphere as you walk in . The decor is of the ocean and a scene from Italy . I was greeted by a very nice lady and she asked me if I’d like to have a seat. Sat near the window to get a better look at the operations, was able to see the cooks and owner from where I sat. The lady who greeted me was also the waitress. She asked if I wanted bread to start and a drink. Ordered a basket of bread and an unsweetened tea. The tea was good . The bread however was cold and over cooked on the bottom ( main reason for the 4 out of 5 rating). I then ordered chicken parmigiana and one slice of pepperoni pizza . The pizza came out first and wasn’t bad had a sweet sauce and wasn’t overly compensated on the dough. The chicken parmigiana came minutes later and was actually pretty good . Spaghetti that came with main course was cooked properly and had a similar sauce the pizza which made the meal blend well together. Over all not a bad experience. The bathroom is also clean and orderly.

Quaint little spot where the owner has his hand in everything. I enjoyed a caprese salad (a little different that they use a bed of mixed greens, there were no onions and I asked to add black olives but it was delicious and a good size) and for dinner tried the ravioli with artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers and mushrooms. Wow.

The crab mac & cheese was also incredible. I didn't try my friend's cauliflower pizza but it looked perfect.

Our server was attentive and friendly.

Always delicious and amazing food! The chicken Alfredo is a personal favorite along with the bolongese!

As a native of NJ, the pizza here is the MOST like home and it helps me feel less homesick from time to time!

Sapore di Mare is one of those nice little restaurants that you wish every neighborhood had. The service is top-notch and the homemade dishes are excellent. The pizza is the best around, whether you order in or take out. Certainly a hometown favorite!
