The food is always phenomenal. The waitresses are open to conversation while still serving you in a timely manner. The dining area is tidy and the bathrooms smell like they've been cleaned regularly. It's all around a great atmosphere that my whole family enjoys.

I had a very nice experience. This time I did a to-go order and I had no idea what I was doing. The staff was very helpful in this department and assisted me to help me understand. The store is very clean and the food is always delicious

We love Sakura! It’s been a go-to restaurant for sushi and hibachi in my family for years. I’m a basic sushi eater, nothing wild, so their shrimp tempura roll is the best around. Their mushroom soup is outstanding. I know their other rolls are good from what people with me always say. My wife gets the chicken hibachi, of which I always get a taste of course, and it is fantastic. Not sure what they do to their carrots but they are addicting. Service is always great with very friendly staff. Great little place to hang out and eat well. Highly recommend Sakura!

My wife found this place and after looking at the reviews we decided to try it. Our experience wasn’t what the majority of the people posting experienced. We arrived and it took a little while to even get seated even though they weren’t super busy. Once seated looking around most of the tables were dirty. They only have one hibachi chef on a Saturday evening so it took awhile to get food. The waitresses were not good at their job, must be new or not well trained. The prices are on par with the other hibachi restaurants in Mobile but you get LESS food I mean WAAYYY less. See the pics of you don’t believe me. Me and my wife ordered the Sakura special for 2 with chicken, shrimp, and steak and the portion sizes are ridiculous! 8 pieces of chicken and steak and shrimp. Like they were counting out everything. The chef was just ok. No where near the other restaurants in Mobile. No seasoning on the food just a little pepper and soy sauce. Not sure about the yum yum sauce either. Don’t know how theirs is made but I’ve never seen yum yum sauce left out at room temperature because it doesn’t have preservatives it has to be refrigerated. Here it’s left out on the table. Didn’t trust it had them bring me out some cold yum yum sauce. The atmosphere wasn’t that inviting. Really thought about leaving after the long wait to be seated in a half empty restaurant but we stuck it out. Wish we would have left. The money you spend here is right there with the other hibachi restaurants but the service and food are worse by far. Won’t go back!

This is literally the best hibachi restaurant in lower Alabama! I've been a faithful patron for years since moving to the Semmes area 12 years ago. The Bama Roll is delicious and I love the Shrimp Hibachi! Everything is seasoned perfectly and everyone is always so friendly! They have an automatic gratuity for sitting at hibachi but it's always worth it and I tip above that every time!

Food was delicious. Allison was our server. WOW!!! She was amazing!! She was so attentive. She practically beat us to our booth, had our drinks out quick, food came out all at once truly amazing service. The price really wasn’t that bad. Definitely will be back to this number 1 in my book , hibachi restaurant

I've been coming here for years and have never had a bad experience! the food is always amazing and the chefs always make the experience fun and entertaining. I'm always recommending this place to people!
