My family loves the taste of the Jamaican Jerk and the Hawaiian Terikaki on their fire grilled chicken and the steamed vegetables with brown rice. We don't go often but it really hits the spot when we are running through town.

We hadn't been in a long time. The chicken sandwich and salads were excellent. Rumbi fries include regular and sweet potato fries (totally forgot) + fry sauce!! It was refreshing to have something new and different. The service was the best I've experienced recently... they cut sandwiches and brought extra dishes for our family to share dishes. I would come again.

The burger was okay I guess. I was pretty upset when I got home and opened up the fries to see just a handful of fries tossed in the container.

The service here was amazing! Sandra was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us order because some of us had never been here before. The food was fresh and tasted really good, and the strawberry lemonade was so refreshing.Thanks!

When I sat down to eat my VooDoo Chicken Salad, I noticed that my large, $15 salad didn’t even come to the top of the rim of the shallow take out tin. As I started mixing and eating, I realized that it was probably around 75% tortilla strip toppings and not much of anything else; hardly any lettuce. At that point, I did the tedious task of separating the lettuce from the rest of the overdressed, soupy salad and in total the lettuce content came to less than a cup. Upon pick up, it had the wrong chicken and when I pointed this out all they did was take it off and put the new chicken on top. They didn’t even make a new salad. So the same salad had at one point or another, experienced not one instance of hot chicken topping it, but two, which made the lettuce wilt even more. Horrible experience. People pay good money to eat out. To be served with an afterthought of an expensive SALAD is beyond ridiculous. Side note… I even poured a bunch of tortilla strips off of my “salad.”

I have been a customer at Layton Rumbi Island Grill for some time now and I think it is about time I leave a Review. The Rumbi bait was Pibb, and when I satisfied that craving and placed my first order of their hamburger I was a fan. I love their sweet pork tacos and shredded chicken rice bowl. My wife loves the sweet potato fries. Last of allbut most important , is the superb management and their skilled chefs. Oh BTW did I mention I love the Pibb?

Food was very disappointing. For $15, the bowl was bland and portions were small. The $0.99 teriyaki noodles were watery spaghetti noodles. The mango chicken was dry. We will not be eating here again.
