Well appointed, clean delightful house. With only six rooms in a large house, it feels very, very roomy. Unlike some places, nothing pedestrian, no IKEA furniture, no leftovers. Spacious living space, were you to want sitting space, spacious bedrooms, clean bathrooms, bathrobes, jacuzzi. Not just a hotel room.||And while simple…pastries in the morning, a variety of coffee/tea always available, real half and half in the fridge, fruit you can take, some grain bars, little apple/orange juice bottles 24/7. Even popcorn you could nuke. Pie in the evening.||No, not a hot breakfast, no, owners not living there, puttering around a common kitchen table, just a beautifully furnished old Victorian house. But, also with basic room/maid service. So much nicer than a hotel, and given the area, great value. Well done.

Nice and clean room in a good location. It is not what we excpected when we reserved a bed and breakfast place in Maine. We arrived at around 7pm. No one was in the house but an enveloppe with our name and key to the room, host was no show in our entire stay in the place. In the morning no host showed up and the breakfast was very poor (self service products with heating instructions). I booked a bed and breakfast not a self service airbnb or motel.

Perfect walk from the bus station, charming and welcoming inn. My daughter and I stayed for one night, took the bus and checked in right when we got off the bus and walked the .25 miles from the bus stop (5 min walk). The room was so clean and the heated bathroom floors were the best. We especially enjoyed breakfast the next morning before our 5 minute walk back to the bus station. The french toast casserole was superb and the bacon was crisp to perfection. They even gave my daughter a free lobster hat which was adorable and so kind. We will without a doubt be back. The location was prime and the place is quiet and a perfect getaway.

Update: Was way better when we stayed here last year- last year they had an actual breakfast to serve that we walked to the inn next door for which they also own. This visit it was hand delivered to our room in a paper bag. Some cinnamon raisin baked bread (really not sure since there was no description) and a yogurt with sunny d orange juice. My 6 year old and I ate the yogurt and left first thing in the morning. Bummer compared to last year- not sure why they changed (for the worst).

Nice place. Not a real Bed and Breakfast. |Check in - no host. Check out - no host. |They say they have homemade breakfast. |One Yoplait Yogurt left. Sunny D. A few apples and crappy oranges. A few Nutria-grain bars. |A few muffins and a few chocolate cake bars. I doubt they made them. |“Homemade” and “Breakfast” - two words that are used on their web site. Wasn’t even on par with a chain continental breakfast. For $270, it was not even close to being a Bed and Breakfast. Disappointed by this less than personal service - change your web site and remove Homemade Breakfast from your site.

Our recent stay was an absolute delight. The beauty of the two buildings (Rockland Talbot House & Berry Manor Inn are one combined property) coupled with the outstanding service made our stay beyond expectations in every category. Our room and bath were modern and exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast meals were just right and are not to be missed. Added to this was the comfort of the sitting room where conversations with fellow guests just seemed so natural. I highly recommend these two delightful B&B's to anyone. I hope to come back for another stay soon.

A quaint, turn-key B and B. The accommodations were lovely, and the evening sweet treat was a nice bonus. They serve fresh-baked pastries, fruit, yogurt, and coffee for a grab and go breakfast. ||Our only complaint was the faint odor from the shower drain (smelled of tomcat).

Nice clean room, but poor wifi and a very disapointing "breakfast" bag including cheap grocery store pastries and a Sunny -D. In my opinion this is not a "breakfast included" stay. Could have been much better. Also the maid did the bed but did not clean anything, nor replaced the empty tissue box. Major lack of attention to detail in this area.

Une enveloppe à notre arrivée avec les clefs, un petit déjeunez tres très succinct et notre départ 2 jours plus tard sans rencontrer ni hôte ni client car l'hôtel était vide le 10 septembre.
