We had our daughter’s birthday dinner there and it was more than AMAZING! From giving us the window view table from our reservation- to the service was beyond unbelievable! Paula answered my calls/requests, our server and was even our host! She was amazing and made the night perfect! All our food was exceptional and DELICIOUS!!! We will definitely be back!

My dad and I had a really disappointing experience here. Roberto’s had been a family “special occasion” spot for many years, and the food is always delicious. We arrived and were seated in the cafe area (despite my dad having called and requested to sit in the main dining area, which is much nicer). Our waitress sat us at a fourtop set for 3, but we thought it was because our reservation had been for 3 and my sister couldn’t make it (which we informed them about earlier that day). We ordered drinks from our lovely waitress, then the hostess came over and informs us we can’t sit there because it’s meant for 3 and we would have to sit at a high top. My dad has back pain and high tops are not his friend, but the hostess was quite rude and basically said we had to move even after my dad said he was unable to sit there. We were pretty flabbergasted (what nice restaurant forces diners to sit at bar high tops) and ended up just leaving because the hostess was acting like my dad and I did something wrong. There were also empty tables around us. Perusing other reviews, it looks like this has happened to at least one other party.

Robertos is decent! I recommend giving it a shot.

The chicken parm? Decent
The chicken marsala? Decent. I really enjoyed the sauce. Did not enjoy the brussel sprouts.
Meatballs? They came out cold. I had to send them back. HOWEVER - Restaurant sent me a new order ASAP. (Thank you.)

Robertos is worth a try.

Make sure to make reservations because this is a busy restaurant, why? Because is delicious. Great experience and customer service. Everyone that waited on us was super nice and attempted. I went there with my family and we had a great time. The food was delicious.

I used to be a regular when it was owned by the original owner. Food is generally passable but overpriced. Prepared by line cooks not chefs. Service at the bar is very good not so great in the dining room. Note: they do not serve true Italian food. Wine list is expansive but overpriced except on Tuesday. Plenty of good restaurants in Bristol that are much better.

Alanna is the most wonderful waitress and bartender you will ever meet!! 11/10 service.
Paul also is a kind soul who checked in on me to make sure I was having a nice experience. Yes, indeed.
This is my favorite cafe here in Bristol! When the world wearies and society ceases to satisfy, there is Roberto's Cafe.
