Loved everything about it. The food is delicious, portion sizes were big. Service was quick, staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and comfortable. We got the curry goat and jerk pasta. Also tried the mac and the plantains. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Yesterday was my first experience with Potwah kitchen, and it did not disappoint me. I ordered a large soup and brown stewed fish and both were absolutely delicious. The soup had the perfect balance of spice and herbs,while the fish was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The flavors were rich and satisfying. I have to also commend their customer service it was excellent! I will definitely be back to try more from their menu.

The jerk chicken tastes authentic and the jerk spice is perfect! Tender and came hot and fresh. Felt like I was eating in Jamaica. I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu. 💕

Iam from out of town so I decided to try this restaurant. The good parts are the chef and front of restaurant person are very very great with service. Food comes out quickly and I feel the amount of food was good overall for me. Now the negative points: I order the oxtails with double rice and peas. Now, I cook this food personally myself and I just feel the cook added too much sweetener in the sauce. The oxtails is overly sweet and not enough of authentic Jamaican taste is implemented correctly. I also keep biting down on herds like ginger pieces which kill your taste bulbs. The rice was good quality and the beans but salt missing in the entire dish. Perhaps he don’t add salt due to many people have issues with sodium but the only way to bring out the total taste of your food and spices is to add adequate salt. I think he deserves the opportunityfor me to revisit and review again. Food isn’t terrible but very much American totally dumb down from pure Jamaican food. But I only had that one dish. Perhaps other dishes are different

The portion sizes are very small and you have to pay extra for plantain. This is an accurate depiction of the portion size given. The food is tasty but I added photos to show what they gave me and I paid $40+. There was little to no cabbage or beans and rice in one of the orders. I would not go here because they do not give you what you pay for. Go to the other Jamaican restaurant in Centerville !! Save your time and money !!

After hearing my husband rave several times about having the best Jamaican food for lunch, comparable to the authentic, rich flavors that you rarely find out of south Florida, I had to give it a try.

We ordered the Oxtail, Curry Chicken, Vegetables, Rice and Peas, & Mac and Cheese. Everything had deep, slow cooked and/or smoked flavor. Great high protein and vegetable options.

We often get tired of the same food options available in the area and now we have a new go to Jamaican restaurant! Even better to support a local, small business.

If you haven’t tried out Jamaican food, or love it, this is definitely a place to try out!

Disappointed in thr food but the place and customer service is really nice. Restaurant is nice and clean. I got the oxtail plate and it comes with 2 sides - rice & peas counted as a side. So I got that and plantains. Unfortunately, I was Disappointed by the taste of the oxtails. They had no authentic jamaican flavor. I guess I'll have to continue to get my fix from atlanta.
