Very clean facilities. Some signage indicating where things are would be helpful, especially for those new to the community like myself. I love the kitchen and wish the one in my townhouse was as modern and large.

The laundry costs $2 per run and the dryers, all of them, are basically nonfunctional. Not worth it at all

Has what you need in a pinch. Gym is tiny with cable cross over and few cardio... No freeweights or space for stretching but.. Like I said... In a pinch... It will do. I went there to do laundry..wash and dry was $2 eaah... But they have basketball court and other things for family including swimming pool and lounge area. Staff is pretty nice. Of and if you're a civilian... You need to go there to get a card to use the commissary or you will get rejected like Shaq in his prime

We have 5+ years of experience with this community center, and sadly it’s gotten progressively worse over the years. Potomac Place Community Center is generally open Monday-Wednesday from 9am-5pm (with unannounced closures on most holidays, snow days, and some employee training days). The community center used to host resident events every couple of months, but now there are 1-2 resident appreciation/community events a year. There is a fitness room with a few elliptical machines, stationary bikes, treadmills, and weights. They got replacement treadmills about a year ago (the previous treadmills were literally being held together with duct tape); however, the fitness room is not well maintained. One of the three treadmills stopped working 2 months ago, and the staff says they have no idea when it will be repaired. There are computers and a printer/copy/fax machine in their business center. They computers were replaced a couple years ago, but there are frequently problems with the printer/copy/fax machine. When the machine runs out of toner, it can take weeks for them to replace it. And today when I tried to use the fax machine they said it’s not set up to fax (but it DEFINITELY was in the past, because I’ve used it before). Bottom line— don’t visit this community center or rent within the Corvias Fort Meade community with the belief that the business center, fitness room, or Corvias-sponsored events will be beneficial to you. In the Fall of 2017, Corvias did a mass firing of employees at the Potomac Place Community Center and got rid of everyone. The previous employees were welcoming and knew many residents by name; the replacement employees are rude, unwelcoming, and unhelpful.

Potomac place has a small gym it's in the back of where they do the billing for housing on the Fort Meade military base. The gym is convenient for Potomac place neighborhoods.
