Burrata con speck- great presentation, beautiful fresh light taste
Mussels- lobster broth, sambuca sauce, herbs and fennel- absolutely de-li-cious
Pappardele duck and Halibut pistachio- great specials, all time favorite
Cannoli and espresso martini- something to look forward to; shell made in house, ricotta filling with chocolate chips and pistachios ends - absolutely to die for; very nice handcrafted cocktails, the signature ones never disappoint!

Vacationing in Boothbay, and at the top of our favorite restaurants is Ports of Italy, this place is not to be missed if you love Italian cuisine. Very popular with the locals and the tourists, be smart and make a reservation, especially over the weekend so you will not be disappointed. They are open 7 days a week 4:30-8:00. We had an early reservation and was taken to our table and immediately approached by our waiter, given water, he told us the specials and gave us time to look over the menu. We received a paper bag of warm, delicious rustic bread and olive oil dipping sauce, so good. After ordering, our food arrived in a timely fashion right from the kitchen. I ordered the veal ravioli in a mushroom cream sauce, let me tell you my choice was just delicious and very rich and filling. Husband ordered Osso Buco sitting on top of a rich broth and risotto, what a great presentation and my husband enjoyed it tremendously! Our waiter was very attentive to us and good at his job. The busboys were so nice and took good care of our needs. This place is a cut above the rest and they are popular and have a cult following!! We just left about 15 minutes ago and we cannot stop talking about this place! This is one of the best restaurants we have been to! The service and food is AMAZING. There are no words to describe it. The mussels appetizer will not disappoint!

For entree, we had the black ink spaghetti with seafood and the spaghetti and clams with red sauce (it originally comes with white wine garlic sauce). Both were fabulous! We will be back again next year on our vacation!

This is an amazing restaurant. The service is above and beyond any of the other local restaurants. I have been in Booth bay for 4 days and this is the only restaurant that has impressed me enough to really want to leave a review. I can't praise the staff enough for their kindness, professionalism, and courtesy to their customers. I will definitely be a regular on my future trips to Maine.

We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary recently here. Everything about it was perfect! Thank you for a lovely evening with great staff and amazing food! My husband wanted to surprise me with a chilled bottle of wine at the table when we arrived. The staff worked with him to make sure it was a special bottle. Thank you all!

We had an excellent experience at Ports of Italy in the summer of 2024. The service was great, extremely attentive and thorough. The food was delicious, we were especially impressed by the perfectly cooked and filled ravioli. The atmosphere is really lovely, with lots of natural light, fresh air and a view of Boothbay Harbor.

Honestly so confused about the great ratings, are they from locals We were expecting out of this world Italian food, it was just mediocre at best. Service is fantastic and the place is very nice, but food was all so underwhelming. The eggplant rollatini app was just ok, bland, I’ve had so much better, and not just back in new York but in so many places so many countries. The frutti di mare was not good at all, calamari well overdone or previously frozen, the scallops (all 2 of them) were terribly overcooked and dry, flavorless, same for the 2 shrimp, the marinara sauce was just meh. My husband had the halibut special, it was overcooked, dry, not at all worth the $47! The bread and olive oil however were excellent!
